Hands down, one of the best swords in the game. It was my go to for most of the game once I acquired it.

it's not one of, it's THE best weapon in the game. Use this weapon if you want to make the game L2 simulator and have no actual challenge whatsoever, I don't recommend using it on your first playthrough.

I only go to this weapon when I seriously cannot get past a boss😅

It does more damage if you hit with the ash of war and the actual sword.

Later in the game if you do the jar quest line it increases I believe ability damage? I haven’t played the game in quite some time. Excited for the dlc though

If Raxx thinks this is busted, wait till he respecs for full intelligence and high mind. Put down Terra + infinite mana & boost spell dmg physick potion + let Azur Comet rip or Meteors of Astel. I can't believe how broken magic is 🤣. The game has difficulty sliders in game, instead of menu options, which is pretty cool

That spell is crazy and awesome. Occasionally some boss would just dodge it or just get clipped a little but when it worked it was satisfying. Ita a good reward for putting so many damn points in int.

For some bosses yes, but in general faith/str build is ERs easy mode

I tend to avoid this fight. Not because this guy is hard but because the scarlet rot in this area is so annoying. I just rush to the sarcophagus.

I actually finished the game on my first playthrough with a Faith build as well, and used Blasphemous Blade.

The temptation of the op blade :p i did a dex playthrough, no summons. I like how you can set your own difficulty though depending how you play and what you use. So more ppl can experience the game :)

Not anymore, blasphemous got nerfed and that Dragonkin has reduced health

Yeah. You get to a point where you want to challenge yourself and try using obscure weapons with the idea that any weapon can be part of a good build. Then you revert back to Blasphemy and use that blade. You get through but there's that feeling that umm "I suck".

People should play how they want but that's a boring way to play imo. Elden ring is suppose to be challenging.

Yeah, this sword ruined my first playthrough also, Malenia purged on second try, little did i know what i would be in for on my second playthrough, where i went Longsword and shield only.

Try being reborn at Renala, go caster, use the two moon spells. Won't ever have to dodge again.

I actively avoid this weapon because it makes the game so damn easy lol. But then again i am a fan of giant bonking weapons and dont really like claymore types.

Moonlight Greatsword too, thing will carry you most of the game.

It's almost always drink then cast, idk what ya have but everything I use is 3 minutes and everything else is 1 or less so always drink then cast

I needed the BB to beat Melania... it was a game changer for me.. but it was my first souls game. 2nd playthrough I didn't need it..

It’s cool seeing you branch out and play a game I love. Btw Blasphemous Blade REALLY is OP and its use is generally frowned upon lol, but we love you! Have you tried katanas yet? Nagakiba is worth double its weight in gold.

you dont need to handicap yourself just to enjoy the game. Most of the things people gravitate towards is fairly op/strong

Can’t believe this weapon still hasn’t been nerfed. It’s pretty much the new player weapon but once he plays the game again he’ll use something different.

I don't think I personally would have fun playing like this.

'Too Strong'? No. If it was 'too strong' it's have done enough damage in ONE blow to destroy that enemy six times over. This is fine. In fact MOST weapons should be that balanced. I mean, all the hoops you had to jump through just to get that damage.

Malenia taktics prewatched + insta ban on stream if you say anything about it. Shame rax....

I beat the whole game with daggers BB is so OP its basiclly cheating but if its his first Souls game fair enough have fun.
