I understand why the senior assess need the extra insulation but why wouldn't the young ones get a coat as well?

Young and healthy donkeys get blanketed when the temperatures drop below 20 or 15. Senior donkeys get a coat when temperature drops below 38. It was 30 that night so the other donkeys don’t need the extra protection since they are young, healthy, and maintain proper body temperature.
