I don't know why some thinks that blake spoiled the song I like he's version of the song very much.

I not only love Blake’s music 🎶 & voice but he is SO a genuinely good country man !

U know I love watching Blake . But it’s 2023 an Thìs is the first time I’ve watched this. It’s not because I didn’t know about it either lol. I was a teen ager when the movie came out in the 80s . My girlfriend got the hot foot after watching it an the next thing I knew she was out chasing rainbows only to find there was no pot of gold to b had. And then she came back. I’ve hated this song every since.

Problem with using a standard mic instead of a head mic is voice cut out when you move your head away from the mic.

I think the backing band messed up on him

Two issue with this. 1 is know your cue. Dude how many times have you done this song? Were you sick? 2 is your band even listening or was this pre recorded. Mistakes happen i know we are human but something is fishy about this

Listen to it the first chord (his cue) was barely audible to us, then the second chord comes in loud and clear. Makes you wonder if he could hear it. The smoke sounds don't help.

Did anybody else notice that the announcer introduced Blake as Craig? 🇺🇸

Blake is a great guy and super successful, but Kenny dominated this performance - his version is vastly superior!

CMA awards suck, they should of given more time for Kenny Loggins to sick. I dislike Shelton Blake because he likes to show off, thinks hes a bad ass, wants total attention for himself and he's super rude.
