I'd never heard this song til Home Free's cover came out. There's not really a competition about which one's better. Blake & Trace have a distinct style, Home Free has their own, so I'll have a good time regardless of which turns up on my playlist *lol*! Yummy! Two tall drinks of water, especially Trace Adkins. Check out his song "Brown chicken, brown cow". It's hilarious! Also, Blake Shelton's song "Boys 'round here" is a good one.

Yes and no. I love Blake and Trace. I also love how Home Free really stuck to country look. And both guys love Home Frees version. So a great song is a great song.

Just so you know, both Blake and Trace loved the Home Free cover, so you can like them both lol

I was born on a cotton farm in Lamesa Texas. My southern accent is very thick. I graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. Funny these days, that people judge my accent with intelligence. I don't hate though. All my bones are very much hillbilly. Love this song as well as your channel. Keep up the good entertainment my guy. Can't wait for the next one.

My dad was raised waayy up in the hills of Tennessee, on a tobacco farm. He joined the military & rose to a high rank. Sometimes he'd add a thick layer of Southern twang to make a point when a subordinate or a equal was getting uppity with him. He was in procurement. He was in charge of purchasing very large contracts. He found his accent made the sales people underestimate his intelligence. In short, he used their prejudice to his advantage. He taught me to do the same, too.

This is a great song. The original is a different feel. Hillbilly invasion into New York. Home Free is in the country element. I like the vocal fill ins with Home Free. Instrumental is great with Trace and Blake Both are great. It’s the song.

This goes to show you just how talented Home Free truly is, they did this song justice and kept it as close to the original as possible. Although, I found myself wanting to do that hip thing when they say, "hillbilly bone-b-bone-b-bone-bone", I kinda missed that part.

Being a country boy and liking country music are two different things lol

Just want to go on record as saying, this 50 year old man from Oklahoma is only getting new country music from Van's channel. Not sure that's a good thing, but it seems funny!

Dude there a place south of where I live call Sikeston they have a big rodeo every year that we go to and Trace Adkins was playing the night we went so we stopped at a place called Lamberts Cafe and this guy was leave the restaurant and I'm 6'3" and this giant dude walks by me it was Trace Adkins dudes a fn unite of a guy lol

Van this song is one of my favorite songs from Blake because it describes how country music makes you feel when you at a honky Tonk bar or just out in a field with a big fire going on a winter night and all the pretty country queens wanting to snuggle up on you and get them warm Because I have been to a bunch of places driving trucks and there ain’t no finer women no where in the world than right here in the south eastern part of the USA These dam old country girls will put it on you brother and leave with the biggest smile on your face Where I live it’s not a big town and everybody knows everybody and when these country girls get together and start getting their drink on there’s gonna be some draw’s coming off before the night is over Ga,Florida,SC,NC AND Alabama there are some fine women but don’t get me wrong now because there’s some ugly peoples down here to but most of the best looking women tend to hang out with each other more than the rest of women down here Trace Ackins is the guy with the cowboy hat on and you should listen to his song that’s called She Thinks We Are Just Fishing Love your reactions brother You can make my day go by so quickly just watching your reactions to country music

Home Free does a great cover but nobody beats Blake and Trace.

Changed my mind. I like this video better. Might be the one of the few covers that HF did that wasn't better than the original.

While I liked this one, I liked the setting in the home free video better, fit the story of the song better imo and I think that Tim and Chance's voices blend together much better when they do the line "with a F150 and 30 aught six" 🤩😌😱

This is a fun song because this is the original version. My opinion is that the original would NOT be near as good as it is without Trace Adkins. I think Home Free did it better only because they did all the stuff that band and those two singers did ...with JUST their voices. Their arrangement could be performed WITH Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins, minus their band.
