@@fatimadarling9656 Who said I'm mad? If it's about freedom of speech, then I have the freedom of speech to reply to you just as you replied to the other person. And when someone says "Oh they haven't aged", it's literally common sense that it's a laxed compliment and not that serious. Also, gaining weight and aging aren't exactly related, you can lose weight as you age and you can gain it. You pointing out her weight is part of what's wrong with today's society. You can't compliment a woman without judging her for her body, rather than leaving a positive comment alone. It doesn't matter if you weren't "outright" fatshaming her, the fact that you felt the need to say that says a lot about the judgements you hold, and says a lot about you. You're still pointing out that she gained weight and implying that the compliment the person paid her should be dampened or reduced somehow with a "but". That's wrong. Period.
