BLAGAJ TEKIJA OR TEKKE - THE DERVISH HOUSE | HISTORIC SUFI MONASTERY
This is our 3rd stop of our Herzegovina Tour. This place is called Blagaj and it houses the famous Dervish Monastery locally know as Tekke, they called it Blagaj Tekija. We had our brunch on one of the many restaurants in the area. The last time we were here the cave boat trip was not available. The souvenir shops before were so few and not that much of tourist, but now its a busy place. The food they served are Halal food mainly because most of the tourist are from Middle East or Arabs.
The famous attraction is the Tekke or Tekija house, its a monatery build for the Dervish cult. "The Blagaj Tekija was built around 1520, with elements of Ottoman architecture and Mediterranean style and is considered a national monument"

yes it is,,, the Herzegovina area is very well know for the tourist spots so come visit Bosnia when we are allowed to enjoy the earth again...

We have plenty of monasteries here in greece and they build at the side of the mountain or on top of it. The spring is awesome.
