@@spartinton In game mod manager is a bit broken, you'll have to install mods other ways, or try to find solution online, since I don't play Nomad, I can't really help

What are the script mods for? Are they the ones in the in game menu? I’m trying to get the lightsaber mods to work so they have the sound effects and everything with the Star Wars mods.

Thanks for this! I’m actually very surprised with the small amount of bugs and crashes ive ran into. Can’t wait to see what mods get ported in the future!

Here are some mods that work heartbreaker sheath, frameworks, choking dynamic breakables, dynamic hands, but it’s a laggy and jaw physics stop time mjolnir key blade iron, peony, and threat the rest of these are on Nexus mods. I recommend that if you know what different way to get these from Nexus, just let me know, but I use my VR station.

Does the Pico 4 have the scripted version because I don’t know how to switch game version in Pico 4

When I was playing nomad I saw the mystic hands mod and downloaded it, but strangely when it loaded it would not let me select my characters to play the game, this is quite a bummer because I currently don’t have nexus mods. Don’t really know what to do.

That happens to me when I try any scripted mods

i have the scripting beta and tried the ice klones mod but im still not able to use it my game is at 100% and then stops to do anything

A lil tip. You can change the version to the scripting beta with the mobile app. Just get to the game through the library, and scroll down to details. You can access it by that. (pin me, plssss)

When I try to go to blade and sorcery it takes me to the actual shop and not the website how do I fix

No clue tbh, I almost never play Nomad.. Have you tried uninstalling all your mods and then installing them back one by one to try to find if there's an issues with some of them ? I've only found people talking about mods that add a section into the book, that can break the book, but you'll probably have to google or ask others for more info ^^

how do i get the mods after the the update version

I have access to a pc but my headset wont connect so I have tried doing it through the headset but I can't do you guys know how I can?

The clips where I'm on camera have been recorded in PCVR, the clothes and body armor are from the Ghetto's Firearms and the arms are Automail Combat Prosthesis ^^

I’m having trouble using a mod called “Heartbreaker” you probably know what it is, I turned it to 12.03 Scripting and imported it straight from Nexus on standalone, I imported it from Mobile VR Station but for some reason I can’t load my characters, it gets stuck at 100% making the game unplayable with Heartbreaker on.

Have you downloaded and installed the correct version of the mod ? It has to be the ported one (it will have Scripting in its name)

Please make a nomad video on dynamic breakables mod with scripting

i downloaded the sheath framework seperatley because its not on the in game browser and now when i load into the game when it loads mods it gets stuck at 25% on sheath framework. the game doesnt crash though because i can still move, it just doesnt move past 25%

Hi I’ve commented on a ton of videos about this. So basically I downloaded some new mods that you can control in the mod menu in the book. But I went to the mod menu and nothing was there? It just said mod at the top and it was blank. Does anyone know why? How can I solve it?

Hey so when I use my oculus app and change to scripting as soon as I load up the game and after selecting play where you also have the option to look at mods after a bit it just kicks me out and I have no idea what to do and when I convert back to the live actual version it downloads it’s just confusing me tbh

Did you let the game to download the Scripting Version ? Or did you just change it and started the game ? It is in Beta, so bugs and crashes are to be expected ^^ I'm not the best in Nomad, but I'll try to help out ^^

It might be, but once you download the Scripting update, your game shouldn't have any mods in it, I'd just probably try to change the version and restart the headset and look if it's downloading, if not, try to restart again ^^ Also Tools of The Trade isn't for Nomad and has not been ported yet, so this mod won't work either way

Every tutorial I see seems to be missing a step, I can go onto my laptop and change the version but that doesn't do anything when j then load up my oculus. I can't change the version through the store page on the oculus either. What am I doing wrong?

You have to be logged in with the same account on the website as you are in VR, once you switch the version on the website and go into VR (usually needs to be restarted), the update should start downloading on it's own (or try starting the game), after it's finished downloading and installing, you should be on the Scripting version

Bro. What's happening for me is everytime I turn on a few mods or NO mods at all when I'm playing scripting beta and when I press the play button it loads for a little bit of seconds and then literally crashes my game! how do I fix this?!

I'd try removing every mod, maybe even doing a clean install of the game, try to start it, if it works, the problems was the mods ^^ Then you can one by one try installing your mods back and trying if the game works every time, once it stops working, you found the problematic mod :)

What about on occlusion how do you enable it there

got a little issue , I cannot get to the mod configuration tab in the in game menu . It only shows me the errors . Tried to uninstall and re install , didn't work . Also suppressed the files , same thing .

@@YpsZ Not only for scripted mods , but for others too . Shows me something like "Can’t read " and it shows me the file path .

Cool I should check this out see if it works because before when I would try to use a scripted mod when it says "loading player data" it just freezes at 100%

Have you had any mods installed before switching to the scripting beta ? I suggest trying to fresh reinstall the game and try again :)

the mystic hands dont work for me. whenever i downloaded it and use it, i pressed play and then it was just satying at 100% saying loading player data (keep in mind i had the beta scripting version on) and now its not even downloading

I've had issues with the mod manager as well, I've downloaded Mystic Hands (port for Nomad) on mod.io and then used my PC to put the mod in my Quest (connected via a cable)

I can load the game fine but the moment I try to use any scripted mods my game immediately crashes before I can use them can anyone help me?

When I try to use mystic hands or the pressure mod (the one that lets you detach limbs with your hands) my game immediately crashes. I ahve changed my game version using the app and I have checked on vr that’s it’s the correct version and it is so idk why but I will try turning it back to the old version then back to the new one

You have to have the right version of Mystic Hands and I'm not sure if the pressure mod has been ported to Nomad

I figured it out I had installed the mods wrong and instead of copying them to the mods folder a copied them to a mod inside the folder breaking all the scripted mods

I had the same issue, I've heard there are some problems with the ingame mod manager, so I downloded the mods on PC and put them via cable into the game folders in my Quest 2 ^^

As said in the video that you're commenting under, it is and opt-in beta version, you can stay on the normal version, no need to switch

Have you installed the Ported version of the mod ? You can't install straight up Scripted mods into Nomad

The modder of this mod has announced on Discord that right now, he is not going to be working on porting the mod to Nomad, but that may change after the release of B&S version 1.0 :)

What do you mean set up ? You just install it and it let's you open zipped files, or right click on them to use winrar as the opening software, I prefer 7zip tho' :)

If you're downloading mods from the mod menu, you might run into some issues, because the mod menu is a bit broken at the moment ^^ When I was recording this video, I had to download the mods on mod.io and then put them into my Quest through my PC :)
