Blade Show Texas 2024! Toll Roads and Day 1 Action!
The Physical journey to Blade Show Texas 2024 Begins! Jump in and ride shotgun as we travel from Minnesota to Texas, do some final prep and bag essential check, then head into the show for some exciting day 1 action! I linked a full video to my bag load out as it is just a quick glimpse of it on this edit. I was a bit overwhelmed on day 1, had a few video issues, moved a bit too quick and shaky, but over all it was great. I definitely learned a ton about what to expect, and how to plan to see everything, film it, and still enjoy yourself. I could have filmed more, and I recall several things I missed, and if I had been recording, would have caught several really cool things, and interesting knives. So much to take in. I think I practically missed the Vosteed Booth, and don't think I even got any footage at it. Like I said, day 1 went way too fast, and I sat in the hotel that night strategizing how I can optimize my time for day 2, and what to do to improve the footage. Having a blast so far! I've driven from Texas to Minneapolis one day then had to turn around and go back the next. Went through some crazy weather, including one of my closest tornado experiences! Thanks for the video KDK!

@clintcrosby6337 Save up! Fly out! I hear ya, though. I just checked on Atlanta. 16-hour drive for me! Further than Texas! It was a spendy trip, but it was so worth it at least once!

Please checkout the Kiser and bestech booths They had two knives last year that looked fun and wonder if any updates. Bestech has the cicadas wing that was supposed to be released this year so wonder if they have a date for that Keizer had a crossbar/spine combo lock prototype and wonder how it is going, horrible blade shape though

The trip was so overwhelming! I tried to film everything but missed some stuff for sure. Kizer was great. I did film there. I saw the Cicadas but wasnt filming at the time. Also forgot to film the tiny button lock from Kizer. It was wall to wall crazy fun! Several more videos on the way!

I use it as my comparison knife on my unboxing videos, but I do have another Silver Pyrite, and plan on getting more of them! I can clean up the tape residue and sharpen it up. Since I am new to customs and you like it, I would not charge extra for the custom lightning laser mark. I can do $40 plus shipping. If you live in the US the shipping is about $5. It was such a good time. No time for the dice game. Too overwhelming at first. Took a while to settle in. Lots of good discussions off camera as well that i wish i had filmed more! I gave out a ton of stickers, cards with channel info, and all the toy gravity knives. I think the footage shows improvement through day 2. Figuring out time management, shots to get, slowing down. Really wanted to capture the feeling of being there. Great first show. Maybe try to get to Atlanta!

i agree. learning experience. i think i did better on day 2. too excited and overwhelmed on day 1. i appreciate the feedback.
