Hey This mini-Hellx is done nice. Kansept's interest in doing 'modern' treatments to their knives works very well here. Some of their designs seem forced, but here it's very natural. Thanks for sharing it! PS.. Bet those Jade scales are calling you.. ✨😺

Great video KDK. I have the black wood Riverbank. G10 version is definitely more grippy. I really like the wood though. Nice tall flat grind blade. Kizer always has great access to the liner lock. Congratulations on 5k. You deserve it my friend.

Hey. Wow, the Mini Grouper brings together a bunch of knife features and designs we really like. And that's before the cool new top-liner button addition. Even with the design update, it's got the classic Kizer acoustics for sure. What do you think of Kizer's recent use of the carbon basket weave over thick G10? I really like it. ✨😺
I do not usually like carbon fiber, but this weave mix is awesome! So grippy!

Hey. So this seems to be Kizers answer to the new fangled Praxis.. 🤷 Ahh , why? If you want to do a great, boring, basic, basic decent quality EDC for $30 there is an abundance of choices. Good choices! A number of the new Kizers seem to be a step back. The new version of the Amicus with little better steel, but cheap FRN. The new CJRB Pyrite Light with FRN. I mean we have tons of okay, value options.. So what's with the Big Players giving us marginal, boring B-sides?!? ✨😼
All good points for sure. Sometimes one that is similar to a popular one can also make some improvements. But yes, all markets get flooded with a similar product that sells. Also, a new design can be more risky for a company. I prefer innovation, but it makes sense for every company to have some standard, good selling models. Thank you for your comments

I'm searching for my unicorn before I pull the trigger on something that expensive, but so far it's my favorite and checks all my boxes. Perhaps you could recommend something else if you know any others... I love the beautiful classy look, thumbflick, reverse flick, front flipper, back flipper, button lock And in this case the awesome button actuated frame lock. Do you know of any other knives that have all these features?
