    The only decent vampire(Nyssa) died with the franchise in this movie. Had they saved her and added into the third movie, it wouldn't have been such a disaster.. :(

    Been a while since I watched the movie, but as i remember it, she was dying and there was no cure. Hence she wanted to go out seeing the sun once in her life

    She was but by her brother who was a mutated vampire which there was no cure for, she didn’t want to mutate and become ravenous and feral so she takes sun bathe instead
