Actually as a dedicated greymon player, I think your is the best deck profile of BWG X i have seen in such a long time.

Bt11 Greymon X has merits to come back now. 1. Because of the speed of other decks are insane now. 2. power creep. 3. removal now mostly is built into Digimon 4. many Digimon cheat their way out. 5. we are not getting any real support anytime soon.

Thanks for the deck profile Sean! I'm also a big fan of BWGX and I've been playing this deck for almost a year now. My deck is very similar to yours specially on options, I feel like this deck only needs memory and search, and I liked the idea of using Gaia Force cause Hades sometimes doesn't help so much as u said.. I liked the idea of using Zubamon along side with BT12 Metalgrey, cause piercing is good. Right now I'm just playing x4 BT8 Metalgrey, cause I like to always wipe boards before I attack (specially against armor form), sounds too expensive, that's true, but De-digi still breaks most decks out there and it doesn't seem expensive when u De-digi an ACE card 😅 . I have been to a lot of games where I had to De-digi the opponent in order to win the game. Not having piercing, makes this deck too slow if your not deleting 2 bodies every turn.I guess a good card that will help us to solve that problem in the future will be Kosuke Kisakata, cause will give us Piercing and Blocker, so we will be able to attack with BT8 Metalgrey and still checks.

I just saw this decklist and its awesome! but I have a question, did you update it? I know its 4 days old only by now but since you knew that you couldn't do the blackwar raid thing, did you change something? I saw a match where you were using p-009 agumon

I would also add hades force is also good if the game is pretty even because it can just turn the tide.

also, I do not think the secret rare is bad per se I run one myself. As a one of it is actually pretty good and with all of these wide boards it can happen more times than you may think. Now having more than one copy of the secret rare is just brick city.

As said in another comment, raid trigger BT2 BWG effect. So if you want to play this deck, you need to run the metalgreymon that di-digivolves on play with the inherit to attack unsuspended digimon. It means you don't have piercing but it's an option, and means we don't need the 2 Zubamon anymore because raid is unnecessary.

Yeah, idk what I was thinking with the BT2 BWG effect lol I've tested BT8 Metal and its Evo cost is just too high. I'd rather Evo for 1-3 into BT12 Metal. Raid is necessary/nice with BT12 Metal.

2-2 split maybe the move 2 bt8 metalgrey and 2 b12 metalgrey? I think the bt2 Blackwar has its merits as a tech option I have begun to run a one of myself. One thing about him is 1. wide boards are not going anywhere anytime soon. 2. Unless they have effect that keeps your suspended you will be for to have enough swings to clear board. I think he is a very nice tech card and not a meme at all. If they ever unrestrict the bt11 Greymon X He will 100 % have an arguement to be as a one of in a pure Blackwar deck. No more than one I would say though not enough effects to justify and the 4 cost though.

Hey sean. Out of curiosity, why dont you run trident gaia instead of gaia force? Same memory cost, but with the added effect that if it kills a 13k or higher it trashes one of your opponents security.

Because it doesn't always allow you to target what you actually want to kill. The example I make with Gaia force in security is a situation where Trident is worse because it can be played around by your opponent. The trashing effect is nice, but I'd rather have confirmed kills when needed.

Hey! I didn't for a couple of reasons. 1. You're not guaranteed to have a black and red source consistently enough for my tastes and 2. Quartzmon and DeathX are both too high of play costs to pop with it. If it went up to 20 (which would be a little absurd) I probably would consider it over Gaia though.

If you REALLY LIKE BT2 Blackwargreymon, and want to use it. If you play X proto form, you can go metalX for free on top of metal. Have a memory setter, and a bt12 Tai. Tai gains you 1, gives you 4. Evol to bt2 BWG.

Wait, so you can unsuspend the blackwarg if you attack the highest DP Digimon, even if you are raiding into it?

Shouldn't Zubamon trigger its own effect having the Legend-Arms trait? It doesn't say "another Digimon."

If you're referring to the memory gain, it wouldn't be able to gain it since it's already in the sources of the digimon it tucked itself under at that point. If you had a 2nd Zuba in play you'd be able to gain the memory then.

is mega flame not an option? low cost (4), with a greymon in name delete the lowest dp digimon.

I'm not a fan of that card because your opponent can easily play around it by putting something small next to their boss monster.
