Blackstar LT Metal Distortion Pedal - The Pedal Metal Guitarists Need!

Музыка

Dagan reviews the powerful Blackstar LT Metal distortion pedal - one of the best distortion pedals for metal guitarists.
Blackstar LT Metal Distortion Pedal over at PMT Online: bit.ly/LTMetal
Dagan is playing through the Epiphone Lee Malia Signature Explorer.
The Blackstar LT Metal distortion pedal is one of our favourite distortion pedals for those out there who love high gain tones that are on the more aggressive side of the spectrum. Thanks to Blackstar’s patented ISF circuit you can go from US high gain sounds made famous on the sunset strip to the classic British heavy metal tones.
A unique clipping circuit has also been included which makes the pedal react to your playing in the same manner a cranked valve amp would!
One of the best distortion pedals for those with limited space on their board, limited budget and in need of massive heavy metal distortion!

Definitely, this pedal is absolutely worth its price. When I first bought it, I did not know if I'd have bought trash or a hidden gem. But damn! It's not just a gem, it's a rare black diamond! I plugged it between my modified Jackson JS32T with active EMGs 81/60, the Randall RG1503 (clean channel) and my 4x12 Marshall cabinet with V30 speakers. At first I thought I would get a washy, muddy and useless distortion tone, but the opposite was the case: Solid, tight and focused distortion with NO muddy fizz as you get from other pedals or even whole amps in that price range (I won't call names now :). Blackstar blew my mind when I purchased the ID100 TVP and this pedal is like the cherry topping of your rig/pedalboard. definitely worth it! 🤘

Thanks Dagan for turning me on to this pedal. It's been perfect for the sound I was looking for. I always used a RAT or a Boss Ds1 and they were never quite crunchy enough. I tried the Metal Master pedal and some other metal pedals but theyre always too shrill. This is one is the perfect balance for a warm tubey sound but with all the crunch you need. I run it through a Fender Hot Rod thru a Marshall speaker and it sounds great !

Some people say this pedal is a crab but I own this pedal and I ones tried it load on a vintage Vox escord 50 lead and it has killer tone. I like it. I would like to add my overdrive on it see what it can do but I am not able do anything because of financel problems caused by lockdown.

Is this like an overdrive and distortion pedal in one. Originally I was going to get an ibanez tube screamer and a boss ds1 but I don't know if this is better

Just scored one for $50NZ. Can't wait til it arrives. Hey bro, nice D riffing. I laughed out loud because for the past week or two I've been doing exactly the same thing and purchased this pedal because I wanted a bit more brutality. This has it in buckets.... I missed out on a Waza Craft Metal Zone recently and am hoping this is somewhere near as good. I have a Boss parametric EQ in any case. Awesome review. I liked how you didn't blah blah blah.... just played filth and twiddled knobs. Awesome!

I already have the Blackstar LT Echo 10 amp. It also has the ISF thingy built-in. So, technically speaking, that makes the pedal obsolete, i guess?

I love the pedal but right when I turn it on or especially when I'm playing a slower song with lots of pauses if I don't constantly step on the pedal to turn it off I get a crazy ringing. Anybody know how I can fix it?

Sounds like you need a noise gate. That's expected in higher gain settings.

Hey i m really new to al this pedal thing, and i have a question. I have a fender V2 amplifier, and even if i turn up the gain, it s not enough for me. If i get this pedal (or any other distortion pedal), will the gain from de pedal add up to the gain from the amp, so that there is way more gain overall?
