It's honestly nice to see somebody actually taking the time to truly forge instead of just taking a piece of bar stock and cutting and grinding it down into the final piece.

Agreed. A lot of "forging" videos aren't actually forging at all.

I used your method for the handle to make a herb chopper of my own today (I put a handle at each end) It works so well. Thank you. Its just a hobby for me, I'm not very good but I enjoy doing it. I thought I was going to have to cut a tail at each end to make handles. I'm glad I came across your video. Greetings from Ireland.

Your blacksmithing skills get better every time you upload a new video. I admire your persistence. And, I love your work. Please, feed us with more videos! The style of no commentary, silence and just the sound of hammers and the other tools, really relaxes me in a way like ASMR does, it is elegant and natural. Looking forward to your new videos.

This video is perfect. You show the process of making the chopper. You have nature scenes for transitioning between the steps of creation, and you then demonstrate the chopper being used. Best of all, you never begged me to subscribe. Let this be a lesson to all other KZreadrs. +1 Subscription for you. Quality work.

I really liked this simple design and decided to forge one finally this evening. It isn't as pretty, but I think it'll come out nice enough. I have a love for these kinds of blades as they remind me of the centuries before machining, when you could look at something and see how much time, patience, and skill had been put into it.
