Going Blackpool on the 16th, love this place and cant wait to get back there after 3 years!

Well you should go, it’s great though I haven’t yet met the new wave machine.

Sandcastle is a great place to visit for a few hours if In the area, some great fun slides in this water park

Wet tshirt... dont even go there haha... mainly wore it as I felt it was right to with public viewing, feet are bad enough lol. They really have! The work to the changing rooms will be underappreciated due to it just being a facility but a massive step in the right direction.

Back in the early 90s a BBC children's game show called The Wetter The Better was filmed at the Sandcastle in Blackpool.

@@PTVlogsUK It started out in 1991 as the game show element of a Saturday morning children's show called The 8:15 From Manchester which was the summer replacement for Going Live then in 1992 it became a half hour stand alone game show which aired on BBC2 on a Sunday morning, the programme was hosted by Ross King.

Wow, amazing vlog, very professional!, Paul reporting Live from Sandcastle Blackpool! LOL 😝 A lot of changes to the changing room! Great on ride footage on the slide! I went there last September! Another unique vlog to the channel, well done Paul! I bet you Enjoyed the slides/ flumes?

All the later gopros are waterproof. The one I used in this vlog was a go pro 7 white. I currently use a GoPro 9 black, which is also waterproof.

I cant believe just how much the Sandcastle has changed from when i used to work there back in 1987 its got a lot more now then it had back then such brilliant place to spend the day with family i would recomend the Sandcastle waterpark has a family day out.

Been looking at booking for when we come at the beginning of August, the reduced capacity is too good to pass up lol we have been before a few years back and in peak season it’s manic. Though got our money’s worth going early and staying all day haha 😂

oh them 2 dragon tail waterslides at 16:23 me and my direct payment worker and autism specialist worker came here last month it was so fast some paint came off the waterslide on my shoulder and my direct payment worker started freaking out thinking i broke my shoulder

When you booked for the sand castle how long have you got to be in the site

You can book the same day, however at the moment they are selling out 2 days beforehand, so if you wanted Saturday for example, you need to book ideally a few days before or earlier

Its cut to a third... so the capacity is wayyy less than normal, and throughout the 3 hours, people will come and go within that session... first or last session will be the best ones!!

He actually goes in at about 11:50
