Really great example of how beautiful 24p footage can be when shot well. Much better than all the 2x or 4x footage going around. Bravo! Looks and feels like the intro to a film.

This is a good example why people like me find the original BMPCC better than the new P4K. It's something special, the picture is beautiful, it has dynamics. Sensor plays an important role. And the Fairchild sensor (original BMPCC) is better. Sony Sensor (P4K) doesn't make the picture that special.

Beautiful, very well done. I made a similar one, almost a year ago in Ukraine, it's called "a day along the Black Sea". I really love the nostalgic and a bit melancholic feelings such short films give. thank you

I am actually considering buy two bmpcc originals as backups instead of buying a 4k. Your videos clearly shows why. For image quality there is no competition for the original in the lower price brackets.

Nice! Thinking of starting to use my old pocket too again. Btw if you export as 4k and upload to youtube as 4k, the bitrate is much better and less compressed by youtube. Can I ask what gimbal you use?

Hi Hideki! I really enjoy your BMPCC videos. I like the look of this camera better than the BMPCC4K. I am thinking about getting a second hand BMPCC...but I am not sure what is the best battery solution? What batteries do you use with your BMPCC? Thanks!

  • @hideki_film

I usually use LP-e6. It lasts for about 60-90min. You can find a cheap holder at anywhere. Or L batteries for longer shoots. Thanks.

Love your work. I'm curious, how much of your footage ends up in your final edit? Do you overshoot or are extremely selective while you are out filming?

  • @hideki_film

You are losing so much bitrate on KZread making it 1080p. Bmpcc footage should be converted to 4k for KZread. Much more quality is safed this way for online viewers.
