Voici Sgah'gahsowáh, chef de la tribu BLACKBRAID, nouvelle entité sur la scène extrême. Natif des profondeurs et de la solitude des monts Adirondacks, au nord-est de l'État de New York, il crée une musique aussi brute et puissante que les montagnes d’où il est originaire. Un projet solo atypique issu de la nature sauvage faisant la part belle au côté atmosphérique du black metal tout en rendant hommage à ses racines amérindiennes.

A native of the darkest depths and highest heights of the Adirondacks in the Northeast of New york, he’s created music that is brutal, powerful and remarkably beautiful in its originality. An atypical solo project fascinated with the wild power of nature and gorgeous atmospheric fringes this is a truly potent tribute to his Native American roots.

Going around saying "I don't take advice from why tes" and calling everyone "racist" is the epitome of "I'm insecure about not being native enough" cope. No respect for urban clowns especially those who are pushed by the New York Times (a why te "news"paper).

After dissection I stopped listening or trying to find something similar but just couldn't find any black metal bands to enjoy.... black braid brought me back in....so fucking good music The atmosphere is so strong...

Blackbraid I is one of the greatest debut black metal albums ever. Saw them play a 6pm opening slot before Cattle Decapitation and Dark Funeral last year and they practically stole the show. Just absolutely incredible live energy and brilliant songs.
That's some of the Best black metal I've heard in years.

that indian chants and war drums sound is cool intro before they start playing black metal being played by a member or members of an indigenous mohawk tribe from the adirondacks mountains in New York state is definitely damn cool and it is produced so well and pure and the themes and elements is nicely and quite creative his vocals doing more than one kind shrieking growling deathly shows his versatility as an upcoming artist especially with this kind of music which is known for its rather unstructured compositions well then this music they are beautifully and stunning as far as taking us on a journey through the beauty that is so savage i think the atmosphere fits very well with some of the indigenous peoples of america and be incredibley uplifting
The first time I heard his music I knew deep down he was going to be huge. Very talented man and he’s band sounds better live than I could have imagined. Damn👍 Keep up the brutal and amazing work mate.

the band is very good! makes a different Black Metal with indigenous and Native accents and is attractive and draws attention to being a New York band and having all the Native and indigenous atmospheres. Very good and very interesting.

Superb set ... have both slbums and good to see them on the europe festival circuit . Whatever happened in Norway (I suspect as usual with these things both the band and security staff were to blame in reality) This was a great show.
I am so damn proud of this band beyond words. Saw them in Denver in June. Everything I expected. Phenomenal show, phenomenal band, phenomenal people. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
