Great looking army! Definitely great commitment too! They are one of the best space marine chapters for models and lore. Both are amazing! I recently did a hard reset of my entire 40k hobby ... sold off most of what I had, and going forward went with one army and it was a no-brainer, Black Templars. I love them! for kit-bashing, for their awesome model range and most importantly their lore and founder ;)

Nice army, and nice name, Samuel is a great name. Black Templars are my first army I started just early last year and are my all time fave. You make Dorn & Sigismund proud with such an amazingly painted army, wow, cheers! Your painting level is well over 9000

Helbrecht is really the crown jewel in the army, it'sa very good job well done on the nmm. May i ask where you got the metal cuff/clips that attach the weapon chains to the wrists? or are they green stuff made? fantastic army all the same!!

Cheers mate really appreciated, yeah helbrecht is definitely the main man of the collection for sure 🙌 and they are all from templar kits bud, mainly the Primaris crusader and upgrade sprue 👍

Just started a new black templers army and no better video to show me and my boys what we need! What colours did you use to for the battle damage and chips on the impulsors and dreadnaughts? Great looking army you have there!

That's ace, black templars are such an epic faction! Welcome to the crusade man. Yeah the dots and scratches throughout the army are mainly the colours I used for edge highlights so mainly thunderhawk blue and Fenrisian grey. Thanks 👍

I want to start painting miniatures, and BT will be my first 40k army. Your painting style is exactly what I was looking for, and I am still searching for tutorials on how to do something similar, would anyone here know where to start?

Hey mate, That's epic, black templars are a great army to start of with! And thanks bud glad you like the army 🙌 As for how they are painted I'm going to be starting tutorials very soon, including black templars. If your wanting something before then I'd maybe recommend searching for 'eavy metal' paint tutorials and you should get a fairly similar process 👍🙌

Amazing overall look and feel of that army!! What I really like is the paintjob of the tank. The interior is sick!! 🙂 But one question here. The black doesn’t look 100% black. Did you use another color like dark reaper in the airbrush to add more depth to the black? 🙂

@Spacusstultus thats correct, with it being so dark I didn't bother recess shading, only on the bright parts like the shoulder pads etc 👍

@@dailydice I finally was able to listen to the video and you basically answered all my questions. But maybe you could tell me if you only used a black primer like chaos black spray or if you used another primer or the airbrush. I kinda have the feeling that chaos black spray feels a bit „glossy“ which is a bad thing when you apply highlights which are Matt. 😅

@Spacusstultus yeah I used chaos black spray, then went over with abaddon black through the airbrush. I always use vellejo matt varnish aswell just to tie the colours in 👍
