I was also confused what to paint veteran helmets as since artwork shows either white or black so I just paint whatever I feel in the mode between the two

They both look good, so there is no bad decision. But I prefer the look of the regular black helmet with red veteran pauldrons 😁. You are doing good painting then in whatever way you feel ☺️
These look really amazing as always. My only suggestion would be on the basing, try getting your grass tufts in a more subdued color to better complement the model. “Wasteland Tufts” from army painter are great for this, and also “Deadland Tufts”

Thanks for the suggestion! 😁. I actually like it like this, it is a happy grass 😂. I have been using it for all my templars, so for now I think that it is maybe too late for me to change… 😅 But I will note it, because I checked it online and it looks good. Maybe for other army bases I can go for that look at some point or maybe at some point I get it and I love it and change all my bases 😂. Thanks a lot!

@@CastellanPetrus hey man, I totally get it and I agree. I have to base ALL of my armies differently so that they are all more visibly distinguishable on the tabletop. It gives them all a unique flair too!

@@dfly27485 Exactly, that’s why even if I totally get your point… it is too late for me to change the bases of my templars… they need to be all the same now 😂. But I will get what you mentioned. I like them and I will use them for the next army that I base, so thank you for the suggestion! 😁
