Black Tatar by AF Archery (35lbs at 28“)

The Tatar Black by AF Archery (35 lbs/ 28”)
In February 2023 I have watched Mack shooting like a machine with the AF Tatar Black bow.
This bow is ‚phenomenal‘ in performance and price: in USA the bow is sold for $129, with Mack’s voucher 10% off.
Unfortunately, this offer is only available for the USA market. All others pay $209… Since I have had placed an order for the Zhu Ran I got a little discount of $30, but ok then…
The bow has arrived 09-March 2023 with the Zhu Ran and it’s a really beauty bow although it’s obviously mass production (reason for the price)! ☺️
The siyahs are relatively long due the long fade out, the bending length is 24“ and comfortable.
The Tatar design is defined by beautiful curves and slightly aggressive siyahs.
The draw feels very smooth, the sound at release is neither dark nor high, it’s inbetween and the shooting is fun!
I love the round handle, matching my hand very well!
As always I have marked the chapters for your time management 😁

I bought this bow in #42 and I really enjoy shooting it (also after Mac's tactical archery review!). I draw 31" and don't really notice any stacking. I did replace the handle with custom leather and I installed ray skin on the arrow pass which improved the performance for me. I also put fur string silencers on the string as I prioritize silence. Overall, this bow has performed very well for me even down to -30C while small game hunting. No regrets. I really enjoy your videos and hope you make more!

  • @agamagreen

    Жыл бұрын

Hi Leverguns! How strong is your bow and what style do you shoot this bow? Indeed, I don’t feel noticeable vibration while shooting… I’m doing Khatra which leads to no feeling of vibration at all. I can imagine, that you feel a little if you shoot mediterranean style… Regarding speed: yeah, that’s a tricky topic! We all use different arrows and not seldom archers use lighter arrows for speed tests, whereas I usually use heavier arrows… This Tatar bow has an average good speed compared to others, but it’s not a speed monster. You can enhance speed by a special way of shooting the Turkish style, pushing the bow at release forward. I can’t do this properly, so I can’t show you, unfortunately… Hope, you enjoy your little Tatar bow nevertheless! Best wishes! 🏹🔆
