Once the larvae stop eating.. is that when they start to crawl away from the food source?

I live in Guatemala and I would love some advice and help getting started if you have time

So I started a worm bin using paper and soaked rabbit droppings and it decided to turn into s hot compost pile in under 24 hrs is there any way to fix that by adding something in or just hope they don’t all get cooked or crawl out

A question because my larvae when they hatch they die after 2 or 3 days I keep the humidity and temperature and even so they stick to the container and dry ... it will be because of too much humidity, it helps please.

What food do you feed to baby larvae

What are the BSF with?

Can I raise BSF on a raised bed filled with garbage? Will the larva still instinctively still want to crawl out of ramp or will they dive straight down through the trash and into the dirt? Thanks.

Just a standard 100 watt light with a thermostat.

My indoor keeps me busy so I don't manage my outdoor like a used to. I'm working on a greenhouse set up for the summer, but it can get too hot sometimes and they die off.

my mix changes all the time. The trick is to make something that they can eat quick before it molds.

Don't really measure it. just put enough in so that it doesn't dry out. Trial and error most of the time.

It all depends on the conditions. I have not been able to consistantly produce the same amount of eggs with my flies. the easy answer is 2000 flies.

find a way to lower the humidity. potatoes attract mites. I use bread, the mealworms consume the moisture quickly so there is no moisture lingering in the area.
