Black Sesame Paste

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Super simple recipe for black sesame paste all you need is black sesame seeds and honey. Oh and a blender that isn't totally garbage like mine is lol.
Use a tablespoon or so of this in cakes, ice creams, custards, pastry cream etc. to give it colour and a deep and nutty sesame flavour.

    Good evening I just wanted to go into KZread to see if I saw something similar to what I saw on a Facebook post from Jordania. . This works really well for people that have like gastro problems, HBP, hair growth, Immune system. They put like a teaspoon or two to a full cup of warm milk for a week. I'm going to try it. Good luck and ty. 🙏♥️💪🏾

    How is the consistency after you take it out of the fridge? Harder to work with or still somewhat fluid? Great video! 😊

    If we wanted to use it as a Garnish (brush stroke against a glass for cocktails) can we add a little water to lengthen it and use it as a brush stroke against the glass or will it not stick?

    It would be a lot nicer texture if my blender wasn't so crap. Anyone have a decent suggestion for one I should buy that won't cost me an arm and a leg?

    hello, how much of this paste would you add to flavor a cup of soy milk or any non-dairy milk?

  • @ApolloandMuse

    @ApolloandMuse

    Soy milk made more traditionally has a very strong flavour, but doesn’t last as long since it doesn’t have any preservatives or stabilizers. If there are any Asian grocers near you, check to see if they carry any.

    Yes! It was almost 1-1 seeds to honey. When I first blitzed it the result was what amounted to a black dough ball. I gradually added nearly my entire container of honey before it was the right consistency.

    Your video says 1 cup of seeds = 250 grams. 1 cup of seeds is closer to 125 grams. This requires far more than 5 tablespoons of honey to bring it to the proper consistency.
