I re-watched the whole series since I had a lot of extra time under covid and Anne and Max continue to be my favorites ❤️️

I think this is the most strong scene in the entire last 4 season of Black Sails. I love them both.

GirloftheX I loved her too. But it were disappointing that she weren't more used in the last two episodes, and that they went with the "historically" correct ending between Jack Rackham, Anne Bonny and Mary Read.

This is one of the best scenes of this series maybe one of my Fave of all the Great TV Shows I have Witnessed! I just love the power behind both Women Truly one of the more beautiful speeches On TV!!!

Rediscovered this saved link and remembered why.. . Max is spitting Bars as the young folks say. 🔥That speech is right after Idelle breaks down to Anne how much Max cares for her.

It’s a nice way to end Max’ story arc. You never really knew if you could truely trust her; was she really into Anne or did she just use her for personal gain. Even when she reaches out when Anne has gotten hurt we don’t know if she’s doing it because she means it or because she has nowhere else to go. Max is a master manipulator and we see her cunningly carve a place for herself in the world of Black Sails, the writers wanted us to always doubt her motives and they did a great job at that! Only in THIS scene do we truly see her real intentions: she turns down everything she ever wanted (in regards of personal power) and chooses Anne though that seems the dumb thing to do. Bravo, what an ending to their story! :D

I really loved Max and her story and think I were on team Max & Anne for the most of the show so to me this were the almost perfect ending to the series.

Tbh Anne was always my favorite and I couldn't stand Max for the longest time. She's so devious and untrustworthy it made my head spin and I hated it! Before the last season aired, though, I rewatched everything and got to actually really appreciate her. I still didn't know if I should trust her or not but at least I understood what had made her that way. It was interesting. They share something, they both had to claw their way out of a place where they were completely powerless and since then they've had to fight the best to not lose that power again. Anne does this with violence and Max with witt and manipulation. Together they are even more powerful, they compliment eachother :) Sorry for the rant!!!! Lmao xD

Even If they weren't in the finale that doesn't mean they're not a couple. Episode 408 was pretty clear in that sense, even one of the writers of the show said it. Max and Anne are a couple.

@@VDA19 Anne literally told Jack that she couldn't be his wife, that they were partners, and that what she felt for Max was different.

Still all This time I reflect on this Scene and the Gravity of it all. Max and Anne Were these Side Characters that stole the Spotlight so many times in all seasons of Black Sails. when I make D&D Characters I always Think in my head this is how they would talk one or the Other Anne just has this epic Raspy Voice while Max Well hard to describe her voice just something unique and breathtaking about it both Actresses were amazing in the series I would have paid money to see stories of them with Jack Rackham :) Would have been a true gem and something wild and fun! Sarah Thanks so much for having this video up all this time. I believe tonight I have seen it over 100 times overtime...............
