Bill Ward always considered himself a “percussionist” of many genres that he molded into Black Sabbath. Fav Drummers: John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Bill Ward ( BLACK SABBATH) & Neil Peart (RUSH).

I have another Black Sabbath I know you and my fellow subscribers would love to hear is "Spiral Architect" from Sabbath Bloody Sabbath....the album release just the next year after Vol.IV Wheels of Confusion 1972.....Thanks for listening to our requests!! More on a melodic, intrinsic theme.....sort of a departure from the more 'angry' tone of the earlier Sabbath songs however un-mistakenly still Sabbath in their prime.

Wheels of Confusion is a pretty good song off the Vol. 4 album. But I always thought the best song from that same album was Supernaut. It wasn't for nothing that song was a favorite of Frank Zappa and John Bonham and it has one of the heaviest guitar riffs in rock. How about turning things up a notch and reviewing that song in the near future.

#PinkFloyd Another great reaction to an amazing Sabbath tune! Still remember when my best friend brought over Vol. 4 album to listen to - this song just floored me. I knew it was Sabbath (Ozzy does have an unmistakable voice), but the music...just amazing (it always is, but this was different - especially the instrumental interlude at the end - called 'The Straightener' - ridiculous groove!!) It is too bad pieces like this don't get radio play, because it's a shame they get overlooked by the general masses, until you start delving more into their catalogue! I'd like to recommend a few other 'off the beaten path' Sabbath tunes: 'Solitude' (if you REALLY want something that sounds un-Sabbath like, from Master Of Reality), After Forever or Into the Void (are also Master notables); Hole In The Sky or Symptom Of The Universe (off Sabotage); NIB (off first album - a definite must listen); Sabra Cadabra (off Sabbath Bloody Sabbath), also A National Acrobat or Spiral Architect (off the same...). So many - you will likely become HUGE Sabbath fans - they ARE the godfathers of Metal!! \m/

One of the reasons they are regarded so highly is the variety of sound they managed to produce. The quality of recording is a little dated but that's part of its charm, however if you recorded them with today's tech, they would still blow most bands away. #AlienWeaponry Re Ana Te Whenua #NewZealandKids #TheFutureOfMetalIsInGoodHands #TheirVideosDontGetBlocked #OfficialVideoHasTranslatedSubtitles #ReStartingMyCampaign #HopeYouReadMyLittleInfoBlurbsOnTheOtherVideos
