this song helped me conquer my fear of heights last winter as I am a construction worker and was scared to death of heights I smoked a bowl of 5-meo-dmt jammed this song and heights aint scared me since love this song

Ill never quit listening to it. Im 50 and I listen to hard rock/metal as much now as I did when I was 12.

Sleep and Sabbath may have done it before, but neither one ever played anything like the middle sections of this song. This is as good as it gets.

It's a damned shame we aren't going to ever hear Black Pyramid songs like this anymore. New material they have up just does not have the epic qualities and melodies because without Andy writing they just can't duplicate what is now missing from the formula that makes there songs so meaningful and memorable. It isn't even the same band left.

Well, we're writing stuff again, I hope that it can measure up?? Have you heard "The Quantum Phoenix"? We did a split 12" with Enhailer, and I think it's pretty solid. We also just recorded a brand new album, "The Paths of Time Are Vast", and it kind of picks up where "Illumination" left off, honestly.

@bob23yer Eh, I do not have any more hate or heavy riffs in me. Black Pyramid is a lot better off without me, and Darryl is a good friend. Twice the guitarist and twice the singer that I will ever be. Check out his other projects. Still a bit of mischief in me, I am just done with music, other than for fun with my friends. I am nothing special, forget that honor crap, I just want to be an ordinary guy.

@C0k3d I do not want to play live, I will probably just dick around with my cassette four track with friends every once in awhile, just for my friends and myself. I play mostly folk, shoegaze and emo these days when I jam with my friends. I just want to have fun with music again, like a normal person. Black Pyramid was not fun, it sucked and I was miserable.
