Sho Jo/ Your absolutely correct, when you stand up for what's right and against wrongdoing,, you stand alone. I know that story way to well. Our country is now build on Racsim, Corruption and entitlement of the powerful and their Buddy System. Prime example is the Senate and the Congress. This is one reason there is so much unrest. Extreme, Racsim, Supremacist ideology is spreading like wildfire in America as we know it today.

Facts.

As a black man teaching in Austria, birthplace of Adolf Hitler, I find myself too often faced with the question by white people over here, asking wtf is wrong with white people back in my homeland - I can only respond "Evil, just evil..."

So basically the chief tried to clean up the police department and the department rejected it. Makes sense. The police don't want to change.

They are sick. They’ve always been sick.

For evil to exist good people have to do nothing. I borrowed that phrase it's not my original but I 100% believe it. A police chief who decides they want to clean up whatever dirt that's in their Department should be given support.

She was hired to cover for the racist, not reform them. I guess they forgot to tell her during the hiring process.

The officers were leaving, because they couldn't do what they had been doing; she took all the fun out of being a cop for them.

They're most definitely RACIST and I'm glad she's suing because it's most definitely discrimination, wrongful termination, mental distress and a hostile work environment.

this is what happens when you speak out against police wrong doing, you are made out to be the bad guy. she realized that racism was pervasive in that racist department and the command staff decided to retaliate against her by tell lies, use deceptions and exaggerations along with sarcasms and anything they could find to confuse the truth. this is standard procedure right out of the police department's unofficial handbook and they use it all the time. this is what 28 plus years in law enforcement taught me....... live and learn black people

This woman was fired for doing her job.. you see they wanted her to do her job but then they didn't want her to do her job...

What a sad reality. Criminals get to fire the one upstanding employee that would’ve made a difference, and they get to keep being thugs.

We can understand when immature children behave in this manner, but here we are supposed to be dealing with adults, but their actions say otherwise.

They thought she was just gonna be a "token negro". Boy were they wrong! I support this sista!

This just means the city did not want to change the culture of policing in the city. They just felt like hiring a black person; they thought that would show the policing was not prejudice!

Her mistake was not going to the people of Charlottesville directly. She was obviously hired to give the appearance of being fair by those with no intention of being so.

Why are these departments investigating themselves? It's crazy!

They fired the city manager too who was black in Charlottesville.

She found out she can't change the reality of a racist community backed by the police union. I feel sorry for the community that has to deal with the criminals that wear badges on their streets.

They were finally moving in the right direction and now they done fell chile 3 steps back. For them to text that they should “take out” the command staff and teach how to hide misconduct that’s a PD that needs to be taken out themselves. Light em up.

There was never any intention to have her fix anything. This police chief may have discovered some other realities and they felt threatened by her.

But its more than just the police reform that's needed. Its the entire criminal "justice" system. The police are just a single element (the pawns) in that big corrupt system.

The *first* step is admitting you have a problem... if admission is also your *last* and *only* step, you still have a problem.

So they fired someone for doing the right thing. It sounds about right

The same happened to the white female police chief of the slime balled Aurora PD in Colorado. She was doing an excellent job of building accountability that was lacking for years in that crooked department. Typical crooked good ole boys clubs.

If she wins that 10 million she should buy the lot and put up a 20 foot statue of herself right in front of the police station

She was affecting their "bottom line" in a negative way. The city was not bringing in enough money from aggressive ticketing and arrest, because she tried to reform their abusive way of policing. Policing for profit.
