Many facts here. I was going through a tough bout with a former employer and actively looked for help in the matter. No one helped and I also reached out to you guys. I filed with EEOC and was told they didn't have enough employees to file. We gotta help each other as other races do.

No one wants to admit this publicly but Martin Luther King at one time before he woke up preached the message of "appealing" to a racist's moral consciousness, which was (and still is) an unproductive focus for the Black community. But liberals and the media have been pimping that message ever since. Our focus should stay on ECONOMICS and not ingratiating others. Their hatred of us is THEIR problem, not ours.

I know Black folks that haven't forgiven their first cousin for getting a present on their birthday that I know for a fact would forgive any white person for any slight. Stockholme Syndrome is a beast.

I agree with you on the "mixed" label. I find that it sounds derogatory to me. However, I know dozens of people of mixed ethnicity that still prefer to be called "mixed" to "Black." Sad really.

During my youth I was taught to love who I am as a black female and to embrace black music. african art and culture in a healthy way but also respecting other people culture for who they are without it turning me against my own ethnic group.🤗

richiexp2 I know how Blaqspot was created and I wish there were more of those projects in different areas, promoted by black people of black people for black people. Also, when I spoke about the celebrities, I wasn't necessarily saying we *need* them for this. Rather I was trying to say that they could be a huge motivation and inspiration to so many in our community, especially for the young ones.
