I love that the moment you see Riri Williams is when Kendrick comes in with the "we gonna be alright". This moving is processing both fictional and real life grief. We are watching these characters grieve for the loss of their king while we all grieve the loss of a real life king. But we have so many amazing people who were beside Chadwich that are still here to represent him. Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, and now Dominique Thorne. I see Chadwick in all of them and I cant not think about him when I see these beautiful people. Everything is going to be alright.

This is probably the most beautiful, haunting, heartwrenching trailer I have seen in recent years for any movie, period.

We lost Chadwick during the heat of COVID and so much unrest, and while there were a lot of heartfelt tributes at the time I feel like our attention was drawn away so quickly by all the other madness in the world. I think the reason I and seemingly everyone is getting sooo emotional at this trailer is that this is the first time we as Marvel and BP fans are collectively mourning CB. I miss him so much.

Then for the loss of my 2 cousins( sisters) to cancer; then their mom shortly after. Then for my grandmother who died of heart failure a few months ago. Then for the husband who left to be someone else after I've sacrificed so much and gave him everything. So yes. This one hits deep.

I'm with you 💯 and I'm so glad to read comments like this. It saddens me (and a bit disgusted) that some Mexicanos in Mexico (I'm emphasizing so not to be confused with Mexican Americans in the U.S.) don't feel the same way. Tenoch Huerta, the actor who plays Namor, and who is presently dedicated in bringing colorism/featurism, classism and internal racism, awareness in Mexico and Latinoamerica, receives so much hate from Mexicanos. In Spanish news media, a significant amount of comments express so much hatred towards him and the fact that the character was changed from a "Greek Atlantean Namor" to an Aztec Namor. They call him all kinds of racist and political insulting names (sensitive liberal-leftist snowflake) and that the only reason he is in the movie is because of U.S. "forced diversity." As someone who was born in Mexico but has lived my whole life in U.S., I'm flabbergasted and speechless. It's a known fact that American culture influences other nations, but it never occurred to me that uber-political ideologies as well? Wow. I respect everyone 's political views nonetheless, but to hear that some Mexicanos complain about diversity in Hollywood films? Wow. That's a new one for me. Okay, enough of my rant. I appreciate your comment. 👏

@@neutronneuron5582 That's an interesting outlook. I will have to research that. I ask honestly, did Jason Mamoa get the same backlash playing Aquaman? Seeing as he is not of Greek heritage. Or is it that they dislike the fact that Namor's entire background is changed? I wonder.

Chadwick consciously and intentionally brought class, dignity, and respect to the Black Panther role. He cared about representation for all Black people when it came to his art. I will always cherish & respect him for that! It hurts that he cannot continue in the role. His death created a vacuum. May he continue to rest in eternal peace.

This is the most emotional trailer I've watched in my 43 years of existence in this lifetime! Kinda highlights Chadwick Boseman as one of the most impactful actors that ever lived. He represented the continent of Africa well and changed the Hollywood narrative for the black race. Now, when one goes overseas, no longer are you seen as someone from a backward background but one from the mightiest of people on Earth. Now, that is powerful! It is even more emotional as one is subconsciously aware that Chadwick is no more. This is his screen legacy living on! I saw Black Panther twice at the movies and about 10 times after I bought the DVD. I'll probably see this one 3 to 5 times at the movies. RIP Chadwick.

All that melanin on the big screen was a powerful sight--the film was a cultural celebration to African people's throughout the world. A film for all marginalized people. And it made over a billion dollars at the box office. From THIS movie clip shown, it recognized that King T'challa (The Black Panther) has passed away-- our First Leading Super Hero as well as the actor that played him is gone. That's why this clip is so emotional. And the 🎵 🎶 music, listening to those words bring emotion, too. Can't wait to see this film--WAKANDA FOREVER.

Ps... Since Aquaman was such a big hit... Namor had to be "different" otherwise risk being compared to the DC character... but man on man... I did not see the now in hindsight, obvious choice of having kingdom vs kingdom and having Atlanteans be of Aztec/Mayan decent and dear lord do they look amazing. Hope they take advantage of the comic story this is based on and introduce Dr. Doom. I cannot wait.

I feel I have a duty to watch and support this movie. My brothers and sisters, we must show up and support this movie like never before. For the symbolic meaning of what Wakanda represents to us all and for Chadwick Boseman's legacy, let's make this movie an historic success. Wakanda Forever!

How could a trailer pack this much intensity? I literally thought something was wrong with me until I spoke to my dude and found out he was in tears too! I then started to watch other reactions to this trailer and they were all the same

Let me just say this, if THE Angela Bassett does NOT get an Academy Award FINALLY.... ESPECIALLY for this performance, I am RIOTING and taking to the streets!!!! Somebody gonna catch a brick through they windshield. That woman spoke for everyone black person and especially EVERY black mother in America. "Have I not given everything?" I wrote on my Facebook page and I will say it here, let's get Mrs Angela Bassett her Oscar! She DESERVES it. If a woman can embody so much power that she makes us ALLLL cry with just a few words, she DESERVES the highest acting honor. The Academy Award is about your body of work. Angela showed us what's love got to do with it. Now let's show her some love. Start the campaign NOW to give her what she DESERVES!! #OscarForAngela #WAKANDAFOREVER
