Black Origins of Christianity : Exposing The Truth

In the northern highlands of Ethiopia, archaeologists have made a groundbreaking discovery: the oldest Christian church known in Africa, revealing early Christianity's reach into the ancient Aksumite kingdom. This kingdom, flourishing from the 1st century A.D., was a major trading empire connecting eastern Africa with the wider world. The church highlights the Aksumite empire's pivotal role in the spread of Christianity, coinciding with Emperor Constantine's legalization of the religion in the Roman Empire.

    The early Church or congregation did not believe Jesus was God.

  • @HistoriaAfricana

    @HistoriaAfricana

    The belief in Jesus' divinity developed gradually in the early Christian community. Initially, Jesus' earliest followers, who were Jewish, viewed Him within the context of their monotheistic beliefs. Over time, as Christianity spread and its theology evolved, views of Jesus' divine status also developed. This is reflected in the New Testament writings. For example, the epistles of Paul suggests that some of the earliest Christian documents, imply a special divine status for Jesus, recognizing Him as risen and exalted, distinct from ordinary human status. The gospel of John written towards the end of the first century, presents a clear theology of Jesus as divine, opening with, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). This evolution shows that while initial views might not have fully defined Jesus' divinity as understood later, the concept that Jesus had a unique and divine nature became more pronounced in Christian writings as the first century progressed.

Why we Ethiopians have our own calendar, new year, ?, 3 why did the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church has 81 canonical book in the bible with its own translation? 3, why did Ethiopia stretch its border to southern Arabia, and what is the ancient border of Ethiopia. 4, where is the Ark of the Covenant and where is the true cross of Lord and savior? 5. who is the king Ethiopus? who is Ezop? 5, who is bakos? you need to have some open mind and balanced way of expression. you have to know most of the history you mentioned were basically from Colonial writings. you have to ask church fathers to know even more. thank you

    🔴NO! That is Not true!! Paul did not create Christianity! Barnabas went to look for Paul after he went into hiding for fear of prosecution after converting to the Faith. Remember he persecuted the followers of Jesus Christ before his conversion and he put many to death. After Barnabas found him, he brought him to Antioch where many followers of Jesus Christ were gathered to worship God. It was at Antioch where the believers of Jesus Christ were first called Christians. (Acts Chapter 11 and verse 26) ♦️This is way before Paul was called into Ministry to preach the gospel. Barnabas and other believers were the ones who were in charge at the Antioch Church and not Paul. The word Christian simply means follower of Christ. Absolutely nothing wrong! ♦️It’s in Acts 13 when the Holy Spirit commissioned Paul and Barnabas to go into Ministry to Preach the Gospel to the Gentile Nations. While Apostle Simon Peter and James were commissioned to Preach to the Jews.

    Thank you for this video. The name Christ was derived from Greco-Roman Christus and African "KRST" (Anointed One(s): KRST is a formula for anointing during mummification practiced to ensure a resurrection of the dead. Using what we know as physics symbols, Xi/Ki + Rho + Sigma + Tao and Iota was later added to form the word KRIST). This is why the old lessons taught that there were hundreds of Christs (priests) teaching oral (Aethiopian) histories. Jesus is a loose interpretation of Iesous/Issu/Esu (pron. ee-yeh-shua) which means sons/suns of Auset/Isis/Aussata Mari/Mary. Remember the history of the Alphabet and how letters were formed over the ages. John baptizing Christ was symbolic of the Roman churches' ethnic cleansing/washing of African spirituality, Cults of Aussata/Mari/Isis, Cults of Heru, and its influence on the known World. It also symbolizes the flooding of the known world by "Enlil" in the Sumerian text which was against God/Ea's orders. The name "John"/Eon/Aion/Cyan (the waters) represents time and the end of an age and rebirth. The New Testament's John the Baptist "Noah" personified. All of the names in the Bible are composites and derived from African Spirituality. The first Popes of Catholicism were Cushite priests of Amen/Amun/The Hidden One.

    This account discounts the connection of eastern Sudan and north western ethiopia today. It uses of the context of current geographical boundaries to explain kingdoms from thousands of years ago. Hendeke is how we refer to Candice and the Ethiopian Eunich who gets baptized and is mentioned in Acts 8 was reading the book Isaiah denoting the presence of Judaism in that region. We also have an alternate understanding of the history of the word Ethiopia. In fact there is no Greek translation of the word but it was used in reference to black/brown. Etiop was the name of an early King of the northern highlands and believed to be the son of Melchasadik who settles in what is modern day Ethiopia today. The historical records which are given more credit in this narration discounts the indigenous records and promotes that of western historians and their version of the truth. It also completely ignores the connection of Cush to Egypt. Archeological evidence as well as DNA evidence of even an Egyptian Pharoah has been confirmed to match the DNA of semetic Ethiopians just recently. And the brief mention of the Queen of Sheba where the fundamental historical records of connection the people of the region to both the Judaic and later conversion to Christianity is minimally described.

    Also it’s Fermentius who is appointed as the first arch bishop of the Ethiopian Coptic church under Egypt and that is when the state religion officially becomes Christianity not the time frame where Christianity starts to be practiced. It is the Ethiopian Eunich who was a Jew and is baptized that brings back the faith and starts the spread of the religion. That incident is thought to happen 50-70 years after the resurrection of Christ. The saints from Tyre (2 brothers) are taken in by the King (not Ezana as mentioned here, but his predecessor whom I forget) because of their knowledge in the Greek language which was of course a very valuable skill at the time. They serve the kings court and help translate existing Geez scripture and later Fermentius becomes arch Bishop because he is considered a high priest and knowledgeable to represent the kingdom in Egypt when the Coptic church gets established. There is much more history of the how the church and faith evolves and yet maintains its originality despite the various attempted influences. The non canonical books for instance continued to be preserved by our church despite the Coptic churches continued adherence to Roman Catholic agreement and political influence over the councils. The church has always maintained a level of independence from the Coptic church through the ages, had it not there would have been record of adjustments of dogmatic beliefs, whereas there is record that there was disagreement after the 3rd council.

    Great research and great documentary. But there are a few observations which I noticed. You used images of white people for Paul, Moses and some other biblical characters. The truth however is that none of them were white in any way. Moses, Paul and every single biblical character minus the Greeks and the Romans, where all black. Moses was assumed to be from Mizraim ( Kemet / Egypt), unless you believe that the ancient people of Kemet were white, then Moses will be white. But we know that the ancient people of Kemet were black and that Moses was raised as a son of the daughter of Pharoah, a black woman in a black kingdom, without anyone noticing that he looked really different from everyone around him. Apart from being seen as the son of Pharoah's daughter Moses was also considered to be from Mizraim (Kemet / Egypt) when he helped the daughters of Jethro, who were all black by the way like their father and all ancient people who live in that region. The Semites of which Moses and Paul are part of looked just like all the ancient people of Kemet ( Egypt ). Even in the New Testament Paul was mistaken for an Egyptian by a Roman official. Why do you think that was so? I don't have to reiterate that even all the ancient people of Arabia were also black. Ishmael, the father of the Arabians had a mother from Mizraim ( Kemet / Egypt ) who was black and Abraham a Semite ( a Hebrew ) who was also black like Moses and Paul. The Queen of Sheba was queen of both Kemet and Kush at the time she went to visit Solomon. This historical information you will get from Antiquities of the Jews by Flavius Josephus. Now, Sheba was one of the descendants of Ham who was also father of Mizraim ( Kemet / Egypt ). Sheba was more related to Kush ( Sudan ) and Mizraim ( Kemet / Egypt ) than Axum. Axum just claimed her glorious history for themselves whereas they really had nothing to do with her. The people who have a rightful claim to the history of the Queen of Sheba are the people of Sudan. Christianity indeed did come out of Africa but it was circumvented by the Romans who whitewashed it and made it very different from what was recorded. What was written in Hebrew about the sacrificial rites of the altar are exactly the same kind of rites that Africans perform before their own altars. The Lewi priests ( Europeanized, "Levi" ) and the African herbalists are one and the same. The customs of the ancient Hebrews documented in Hebrew are exactly the same as the customs of Africans. The fact is that the Bible is African history whitewashed by Europeans to look anything but African.

    The bible has nothing to do with Africans most of the characters are made up and those that are not are Caucasians and their sub races from Mesopotamia and Greece including Adam and eve they put places in Africa in their stories to give them validity because most of them are not real for instance there was never any Israelites in Egypt no record of that event happening plus the bible only covers a six thousand year period we Africans have been on this planet much longer than that

    Kindly refrain from politicizing Christianity. As an Ethiopian and African, it is important to clarify that the first Church was established by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ himself in Jerusalem, and later in Antioch by his disciples. The Unity of the Holy and Apostolic Church transcends geographical locations, as we are all citizens of the holy Church, which is the body of Christ. God created Adam and Adam had no citizenship or continent, so please never ever try to play politics and racist ideology with the Heavenly Jerusalem, which is One Body of Christ given freely for all humanity regardless of geographical and racial barriers. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

    "Ethiopia was Christian before Christ". Ethiopia was the only country in the world, along with Israel, that had been awaiting the coming of the Mesiah, when the rest of the world was in the dark. And yet some people wish that Christianity was introduced into Ethiopia in the fourth century! A country that had been worshipping God had to wait four hundred years before they even heard about Christ?!

    🟥Which Church are you talking about? The Church of Jesus Christ was established immediately after His ascension in different Places, especially in the Middle East and Asia Minor, by the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ way before Saul (Apostle Paul) was even converted to Christianity. ♦️It is Thomas, one of the twelve Disciples of Jesus Christ who took the Gospel to Ethiopia for the first time. Thomas died in Ethiopia as a martyr from a spear wound.

    I am ethiopian , it's not African religion, we accepted earlier than others , and we are half African and half semetic, so our case is unique than other countries in Africa When it comes to religion other Africans can't say the same so let's not make this a we thing , cus it's not , and it's not African religion, Literally Africans were introduced to a very modern type of Christianity in late 17th 18th centuries 😂n you talk about inventing Christianity, 😂 ethiopians practiced since like 340ace. . And I can still proudly say we didn't invent the religion eventho we are the oldest christian nation in the world we have all the oldest monasteries bibles n religious books and prayer n practices ,I can 100% say that the religion did not start in ethiopia , or ethiopians didn't create the religion as per say So seriously talk about your ethnicity country culture like what your familiar about, your ancestors history , there are also some west African kingdoms , kind n queen histories that I want to learn more about n which I'm fascinated for, let's learn from each other ,

    A good presentation, but a few observation. Christianity did not begin in Jerusalem, none of the disciples were Christians. The so called Ethiopian Eunuch was an Y'sralite who had gone up to Jerusalem to worship, Ma'aseh (Acts) 8: 26. Notice 8: 28, on his return journey he was reading the YeshaYahu (Isaiah) scroll about the Mashiach. Philip was sent 8: 26 to explain who YeshaYahu was talking about. The Christians in the 1st Century CE, were the Christoi worshippers of the saviour god Serapis Christos. In Rome they were persecuted but in the second century these stopped and the faith spread! It was out of these that Christianity arose in the first half of they 4th Century. Finally, king Shelemo was not a Jew, he was the Y'sralite king from the tribe of Yahudah, Jews did not exist at that time. Christianity and it's Christ have nothing at all to do with Yahusha the Y'sralite Mashiach.
