I feel like the games are starting to lose their identities. Nowadays every developer works on every game instead of each developer working on their own game.

@@gavcobob Eh, just cuz those games had different settings doesn't mean they lost the "COD identity". The problem now is that it's trying to go outside of what COD was always known for in terms of game modes and ways to play. And also the lack of uniqueness from each developer.

I feel CoD is treading dangerous territory when it comes to open world games. There's 2 different types of open worlds: something hollow such as Far Crys 4-6 or something well crafted like Fallout New Vegas or Red Dead Redemption II. Seeing how CoDs been the past few years, I'm anxious to see CoD campaigns play like an ubisoft game.

What i think of open world campaign then i just think of farcry

honestly if raven develops the campaign and Treyarch has more time to cook with Zombies I'm fine with it.

Imagine your just a marine in the gulf war and you have that black hawk down sequence and you have to face off against the enemy pushing toward your downed helicopter. While then the next mission you get put into the shoes of you black ops team Mason, woods, Adler etc and you have to save them.

I personally think it’ll be a lot different than the open combat mission we just had. I think it’ll just be an open world I.e just bigger maps and having the ability to roam similar to a lot of games I.e Far cry, the last of us etc. I personally think this might be a good thing for this game anyway, considering it’ll be based in the gulf and other large desert type terrains.

Open world in Kuwait would be interesting. I'm not convinced yet.

They should add where u can make your own camo after u get diamond u unlock the tool for that gun

I have hope for gulf war open world campaign missions. I hope it will be way better than mw3 I also hope they will add decisions that will affect the story and end Therefore they have to bring back the innovation back to how it has been in the past. They need to bring back The originality otherwise it wouldn't feel like Call of duty anymore

@R34S0N3R For now. Treyarch hasnt failed me yet. What i mean is ive enjoyed all of their games so far. Despite bo4 and cold war being a downgrade compared to world at war to bo3. However i still had fun with Bo4 and cold war so far despite its flaws/problems. Plus gulf war will be first COD to have 4 years of development and they are bringing back some OG core for multiplayer and zombies. In terms of campaign, bo3 yes was confusing as hell and i see why most people hate it but to me its not the worst. The rest of treyarch campaigns were all phennomenal (bo4 doesent count)

Open world and fast travel in the gulf war? What are we gonna do teleport the different parts of the desert?

Hmmmm... Open-world game, that starts with a mission going awry, possibly in a similar method to Black Hawk Down... I'm getting reminded of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and I don't like it.

Treyarch never miss with innovations. They were all Good and they listen to fans.

@Xpertfusion They do. Zombies Wager Matches Party Games Multi-Team League play Blackout Outbreak ( sure it was barebones first but at the end of the year it was goated) All Great additions to Black Ops games

Why tf not. Some War Thunder style multiplayer would be awesome. Some breath of fresh air. Treyarch never dissapointed me personally so i have high expect.
