I hate when these guys do this, right after they drop out a new album they start playing their new stuff that is always killing and then we have to wait a whole ass year to hear it on studio version.

if their next album has a more slow vibe like this and the other video in the pinned comment above, then it’ll probably end up being my favourite black midi album. I still like the chaotic nature of most of their songs, but there’s a serine beauty to songs like Diamond Stuff or the second half of Still that I’d love the band to put more of a focus around.

Nothing confirmed but lp4 right now seems to be the other song I uploaded, this, and lumps and faster amaranta which theyve been playing for a while now Already lots of different styles going on but if they do keep this slowcore vibe track on it i think it’ll be my favorite too bc lumps and the other track is amazing as well

it's really late, but if you like this i'd highly recommend listening to a bit of mogwai. similar slow vibe but still that intricate instrumentation

Honestly, same. Hellfire is peak Black Midi for me, but this album is sounding beautiful, and better than Hellfire already

If any1 wants to play this on guitar its b power chord and picking from the lowest string to the b string also occasionally putting ur finger on the 3rd fret b string
