To put this in perspective, Gordon was literally just the weird quiet guy at work a couple of hours ago, next thing you know you send him into a room alone and you hear a bunch of gunfire and assume hes fucking dead and the next time you open up that door you only see him and an entire squad of dead marines on the ground.
