Black Man Mistaken For Thief |
A black man was looking for an engagement ring at a jewelry store, but the saleswoman immediately became confrontational, thinking that the couldn't afford the piece. Offended, he pulled out his phone to record the woman, but a security guard tried to stop him. Thankfully, the store manager intervened and apologized for their behavior. The man was offered a discount on a ring, but while waiting for it, the police showed up. As it turned out, they were called by the manager! The question is: Did the police get to the bottom of the issue or did they arrest an innocent man...?

Finding a ring doesn't make him a thief, it's when leaving without paying that is stealing!!! Jeweler and security were already profiling the nice client for being Black(again) and thinking he couldn't afford it!!! So he's wearing a twenty dollar hoodie? So what? That's most likely how he saved the money for the ring -- by saving his money and not relying on expensive clothes.
I just watched one, then I was hooked and watched all of them😂
As a light skin black man this is beyond truth, my complexion can completely change the reaction of a worker. And I love people and helping them. But it’s hard to be nice in this world when everyone is selfish and secretly racist for no reason. I’m 30 yrs old and have a spotless record and people only see your skin. And if I had a dollar for how many times White people or people of non color say “ You speak very well” it reminds me what they expect from me and what they are use to seeing. Hopefully one day i can help bring humans together even in the slightest
This’ll never end. Racism and bigotry. Thanks Guys ❤

I was so invested
Did the officers getting their Donuts? 😂
All the store staff should be arrested and charged for False Reporting/Perjury and Tampering with evidence. The manager as primary, employees as accessories before and after the fact. I don't know if a Hate Crime can enhance the charges usually affects punishment. Dude was an idiot for not pressing charges himself. By not pressing charges, he'll somehow, some way get hired by someone and do this again

As a black man I've had this happen quite a few times. From having me and my friend pay for a meal before we were served at a sit down restaurant, to being told that (despite wearing the exact same thing as many other customers already inside) I wasn't wearing "the correct attire" for their so called "dress code". If you want to make a difference, if you see this kind of thing happening to someone else, call out the racism/bigotry/sexism/homophobia/whatever for what it is. And remember, you're not alone! Those you're standing up for will almost certainly be standing with you. By speaking out you're showing you've got their back, so they'll have yours. 🙂
This is an example about how racism allegedly is a disgusting shame in Europe. Black Americans do your research about the country you will be visiting on your next vacation out of the USA.
