I was an extra in this movie. I worked a lot of the baseball game scenes. A few of them were filmed in Macon Georgia. There was this one day we worked and it was very hot. We were all wearing heavy suits made of wool and they had the black extras separated from the white extras as it was true to the times. This one day and all the main cast was there including Boseman, Ford, Bernthal and many more and this one black lady in the black area out from the shade in the blistering heat during a canera change started singing the Star Spangled Banner. Her voice was very loud and beautiful. Once everyone realized she was singing everyone even Ford and Boseman put their hands over their heart and she finished that song. When she got done everyone stood up to give her a standing ovation. It was one of the most inspirational films I worked on. Thanks for letting me share this story. Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman. I'm a 50 something white Australian guy and I have to say I agree. It's not always the case, but it seems that we often loose the ones who can, and do make the most difference way too soon. From what I have seen of Chadwick, he was special in that way, where everyone just stops and listens to what he had to say. I know I will miss him, both because he is gone, and for what he could have done if he were still here with us.

I get sick of how these movies show characters as infallible and often show certain ethnicities as underdog angels and show white Americans as ignorant corrupt racist thieves. But Hollywood simplifies and generalizes and sensationalizes that's just how it is . Not to mention that Jackie Robinson was - by all accounts - a one in a billion human. He had not only superhuman abilities in sports but in his ability to turn haters into friends. To deescalate. To win over hostile crowds. To open the minds of closed minded people set in their ways. For once, here's a biopic that really didn't need to exaggerate. He's been a hero of mine since i was a little kid

Not sure many of us who grew up in Africa really appreciate how hard it was to be black in America during these times. Slavery was very long ago and we got to rule ourselves somewhat thereafter (albeit with a large dose of colonialism). Segregation was not really something we got to know. Films like this help to educate Africans today on what our brothers over in the States had to face for such a long time.

Great recap. Here in the Caribbean where I grew up and still reside, Jack Robinson was admired and highly respected by people of colour, of whom I one. As a matter of fact he was a household name that was synonymous with lightning speed. I would often hear grown-ups, my parents included, say things like, "before I could say Jack Robinson, the man was finished washing my car." I myself used the expression 'before you can say Jack Robinson ' a couple days ago. I saw his movie years ago where Debbie Morgan played his wife and it increased my admiration for him.

This movie almost perfectly depicts what is currently going on in my country. It's isn't just about the skin color, but about the superiority, low inferiority or jealous/evil mindset. Same skin color, same continent, same country, only difference is the name and region/tribe, and all hell is let loose. All because of corrupt leaders whose watch word is divide and rule, yet the populace are so gullible that they can't see through their gimmicks, lies and propaganda. Very sad and pathetic, I believe in a Better tomorrow. #GreenWhiteGreen

I did it for the state of HAWAII and for my family. I made them believe that I could cook because the MARINES and the ARMY don't get the best food

The fact is that BTC symbolises the future of cryptocurrency, and traders are wondering if now is the best moment to trade, I feel you should examine the situation more closely before jumping to any conclusion. BTC's price has been fluctuating over the previous days, signaling that the market has become unstable and that is it impossible to anticipate whether it will go bearish or bullish. Others are patient, while others continue to trade with no risk. It all depends on the pattern you're trading and the source of your signal;

Perfect example of using anger as a powerful, positive force, instead of for self-destruction.
Notice how good and healthy Chad looks. Seeing him here one would have NEVER thought that hed be gone away from us so soon. 😢Truly we never ever know what life has in store for us. RiP Chadwick Bozeman 🖤
God bless Chadwick Boseman, as he is such an inspiration just as Jackie Robinson still is. 🖤🖤🖤✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿

Dear Chadwick u definitely left a space no one could fill, continue to rest in peace
We need to highlight, showcase and show off our people like Robinson so that our boys and girls can have role models to emulate ❤
Chadwick was one of the greatest actors ✊🏿
Poetic justice and all hail the king Chadwick boseman my black panther .

Awfull isn't it, I don't understand how anyone can have so much disgust and hate for someone just over the colour of their skin, that's as stupid as hating someone because of their height!! It's not something they have control over but tall or short, black or white skin we are all human beings! X

If you dont have a cool head, racists can easily get you off your dreams.They will provoke you, make you an easy target always.And to survive around them , you have to work 2 times more than they do.The mistakes they do are taken lightly and if you do the same mistakes you are handled harshly.Its not easy working within a racist environment.I can relate to this movie in 2023.
fine movie of our hero Chadwick rip
It is so sad and hurts when I still see this same thing going on today.People should all be given a chance to make it in this world and it should not be based on color, who you are or who you know.
I'm watching with tears in my eyes God you sees everything what kind of a world we are living in that man was persistent rest in peace
Saw this at my local cinema in London. An absolutely cracking film. Very uplifting and very moving.
N Recaps Inspiration & Motivation is the channel we deserve and need right now Damn this explanation gave me chills down the spine
The way of explaining the movie was awesome Better than others who recap in English.

#GreenWhiteGreen

what an inspiring story
Watching this video reminds me of when I was in the ARMY, because there were no ASIAN PEOPLE in my company but I fooled them all,because I had cooked professionally prior to going into the ARMY and I remember when I was stationed in Georgia, 2 sergeants told me that I had earned a reputation as the best cook on base.still it didn't matter because I had a job to do, and that was to make the best food for the troops and do it consistently. I did it for the state of HAWAII and for my family. I made them believe that I could cook because the MARINES and the ARMY don't get the best food
Chadwick may you continue to rest in eternal peace

This man played Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, and James Brown. He brought each one of these men to life. He was a phenomenal actor. Having said that, as much as I admired him I really think T'Challa should be recasted with another actor.

Meanwhile when in Canada Jackie played for the MLB Montreal Royals... and all the fans cheered him on and actually carried him on their shoulders down the street at one point... "When we got to Montreal it was like coming out of a nightmare. The atmosphere in Montreal was so positive, we felt it was a good omen for Jack to play well,” Rachel Robinson.... yeah America you're #!.😂
That was beautiful...
I cried while watching...
It reminds me of the Sonsorolese soft ball team in Palau in the 80's too. We went through some discriminations but we are good with each other now. The first team's named was; Rooster, Buldozer, then, Worr.

The fact is that BTC symbolises the future of cryptocurrency, and traders are wondering if now is the best moment to trade, I feel you should examine the situation more closely before jumping to any conclusion. BTC's price has been fluctuating over the previous days, signaling that the market has become unstable and that is it impossible to anticipate whether it will go bearish or bullish. Others are patient, while others continue to trade with no risk. It all depends on the pattern you're trading and the source of your signal;
