Was curious @15:00 and needed to look up/inform a frame of reference to put 3 million miles/hour in. Begged the first question, how fast is Earth's orbital-speed? 66,620 mi/hr. Next, compare their 3 million o-speed to ours, and foud it is 45 times faster than Earth's. That means if Earth were orbiting Sun at 3 million mi/hr, but in terms of Earth's existing rotational period, one year would take ≈194 hours (8.1 days,) each season/quarter would be about 48 hours long And even at that tremendous speed, is minisucle to the speed of light. SoL is ≈671 million mi/hr, thus 3 million mi/hr is a measly 0.447% SoL. I'm always fascinated at the contrasting spatiotemporal speed of light in uncommon terms. I'm befuddled at how the speed of light can be so enormously, unfathomably fast, while simultaneously being slower than a sloth, in the galactic scale of the universe.
