What a day!! Very memorable. Bummed we we didn’t get to swim there that afternoon, but I’m glad we were still able to meet up with you guys at the campground! The hike looked amazing!

Hi! What trail did you take in and out? I’m going in May and this is a goal to do. How long did it take you to hike? And is it kid friendly? I have a 5 and 1 year old.

We did the Black Elk Peak Loop. It started and ended at the Sylvan Lake parking area. The loop was over 7 miles, so if your 5 year old can do that, and you can do it wearing your 1 year old in a baby carrier, then possibly. It was a long climb on the way up, though.
