***** the 2006 album was mostly redos/sampling of the original tracks, supposedly by the same dudes who recorded the original album. This isn't too far out from what was released in 1978.

Trevor Leung no wonder I always got a late 70s and early 80s vibe from this track, it sounds very experimental, and I could see how this was seen as dark or edgy at that time

Not really. The artist released an EP in 1978, re-released it in 2004 or so but this track is a new one from 2006 because the re-release was successful and he decided to make music again.

Damn, this is very good one. Dark greedy catchy.

@@dripsystem5785 What he meant is that the first album was released in 78 (Black Devil Disco Club or just Disco Club) , and the next album (28 after) was released 28 years later after some publicity from the aphex twin repress/rerelease (At least thats what I’ve read.).

Hey buddy! This part of the song have no meaning at all, that's just random sounds and the "I'm" is for the first question he made at the beginning, that part "Are you really you, am I really me?" So I guess the I'm is just a sequel to this part... But if I find the real reason or the real words behind this sounds I'll let you know, cheers from Brazil!

No, the album this song came from was released in 2006.

That synth somehow reminds me more of GTA V ambiance rhytmn, i suppose these kind of techno house arrangements are one of the inspirations (Check out Rockstars own records called Circoloco, you'll see what im talkinh about, track called NYWTF)
