That book is fucking great!
I remember when I first watched this I thought the lead singer tackled the guitarist who was playing those solos in anger because he fucked them up so badly.

I never understood why Chris sings everything all weird live. Listen man, we want to hear the hits like the hits. Not this artsy fartsy bullshit. No one cares!

I came here after reading about Jeff's solos in Gorman's book and noticed immediately that Chris allowed himself far too much latitude when it came to singing this song. Vocalists do that live on occasion. There's a fine line. Chris was egregious in how he crossed that line in this performance imho.
That guitar solo was pretty mediocre, but Chris' vocals ate horrific here. sing in time.
