This rat is working in total darkness! The rat has never seen this type of rat trap before, the Black Cat Rat Trap, so how does it know its anything to be fearful of? Rats, as disgusting as they are, are amazing creatures.
Compared to other rat traps we use in our profession the black cat rat trap is a great trap. Normal break back traps for rats are next to useless in the West Midlands! What would you recomend out of the original or the nano size?

We always use the big original if we can, but have been impressed with the nano when we have used them.

I've bought a pair of these off Amazon. No success as yet. I think they're possibly a bit too powerful. Rat sprung mine and the trap did a flip. I've built boxes to enclose them now though to keep them stationary and protect other animals. Also keeps the little feeding tray dry when raining. Just baited them with oats after seeing your other videos.

3:12 watch in 0.25x speed. that rat got huge brain/head damage. i have similiar trap like that. the rat can easily escape, but later died in a few meter from trap. 😬
