I always tell my little bro (I used to be Amateur) but I'd tell him go to the body and the head will fall. He has a bad tendency to always go for the head but any boxer or former boxer knows the head moves off line, the body is mostly always there. Dont always head hunt. My best KO was from a liver shot. Without statistics and experience, there is no way to evaluate and compare two different fighters. Meaning someone on their debut getting the opportunity to fight a world champion. At the same time, you could be the best boxer in the world and have no stats or professional bouts and come in and beat the hell out of the world champion. Although I do prefer pool and stat based match ups to be the most accurate and fair, why not let people take the opportunity if they're already going to have to fight to end up with the title and just test their might immediately. Might as well find out what your capable of in the beginning than having to discover the mysteries of uncovering talent. But such is the way and life of BKB!

Holmes looks the part,,there will be some good fights for him down the line

They got it wrong - it was a vacant title. Holmes is very well respected in other combat sports. Shaw young and building an enviable reputation in BKB.

Different punching technique from gloved boxing, training bare knuckle to toughen the knuckles, hand wraps, and being very careful not to punch boney parts. Even with all that they still get broken knuckles a lot.

Shaw looked terrible, because holmsey made him look terrible mate. Ive known holmsey for about 15 years and believe me hes a fucking animal, very handy, and with this new level of discipline and fitness, also the team behind the scenes, from fitness and prep, to the technical expertise of neil wain at ludus magnus gym it makes him very very dangerous and its gonna take someone with a similar level of discipline and skillset to even have a chance of beating him. Fair enough im mates with him so some might rule my opinion as biased, but whilst Holmesy is competing in bkb, i cant see anyone beating him, cos i believe hes that talented. Watch this space in 2021 guys. The yorkshire gladiator and the new british bkb champ is taking over.👊🏾👊🏾💯💯💥💥💥
