Lomberg makes an obvious error/lie when he omits Hydro as a renewable energy form. He is also lying about the cost of Nuclear. .. Go get a STEM degree and then study the work of Mark Z Jacobson on renewable energy. .. Search any University in the world and see what they are doing.

A few months later we see refreezing. *How much time must pass between the melting and the time that it becomes measurable as sea-level increase?* The effect should be *IMMEDIATE,* should it not? Why, then, do we not see *ANY measurable fluctuation* from that melting? And the opposite measurable fluctuation as water is removed from the oceans by newly-forming ice..? *We should see it every single year.. but we don't! Why not??*

I've yet to hear a reasoned argument that +2 to +3 degrees Celsius in tempurature is a catastrophic danger to humanity. Historically, the tempurature has been even higher than that and not only been fine, but there were fewer deserts because higher evaporation of the oceans resulted in greater rainfall across the continents.

Being that CO2 does exactly nothing to drive climate, there's really nothing humans can do to change it. CO2 is great for plants however and increasing it allows crops to grow in cooler climates. That's a good thing.

So think about right now and not the future, not stating what not spending this much capita would do to climate, and it would ultimately cost more than that to repair. Government has to work on research for renewable energy.

yes my dream is to stop climate change. stop fall from changing to winter, and spring to summer--that is all such a nuisance. keep the temperature at 70 degrees with 55 percent humidity all the time. and the carbon dioxide always right in front of my face when did that start?

I mean considering The u.s. has spent almost 6 trillion in the last 20 years on war alone. If the u.s cared about it's people it would have invested in them instead. Also, I wouldn't be so eager to buy into these economic benefits at the cost of environment. It's wildly underestimating the costs of ecological shutdown. Speaking as an environmental economist here.
