After Aka Moon blew out thirty candles in 2022, the same honour falls to Brussels Jazz Orchestra in 2023. The ideal occasion to bring both bands together for the first time, after three impressive decades.
Frank Vaganée (BJO) and Fabrizio Cassol (Aka Moon) talk about the collaboration between both bands. Recorded in December 2022 during the rehearsals of the rhythm sections.
After concerts at Bozar, Brussels, PBA, Charleroi and De Bijloke, Gent in February, Aka Moon will share the stage with Brussels Jazz Orchestra during Gent Jazz (Bijlokesite) on 15 July 2023.
