Ever changed the color opc succesfully? I tried it with like 4 different brand, same results: it pulls the DV constantly from the unit, giving a colored background on every print. Also, i can not find "color opc" for the c227, only for the black IU.

The OPC is the same for each color. only on the image units for each color is a different chip located at the bottom. Since it is expensive to replace a complete developer unit, I personally replace the chip on the developer unit, er the chip determines how much voltage comes on the developer unit. You need to diagnose the copy well and determine exactly which color you have a problem with. If you have additional questions feel free to ask

@@suretaservicerepair Yeah sorry i was not really specific. So i have a problem with the magenta, the original OPC is damaged, and since the full IU (opc+dv unit) is expensive as hell, i just wanted to change the blade and the OPC itself. Succesfully changed them, and there came this problem, on all colored print, there is a magenta background, seems like the new OPC is pulling the magenta toner+dv all the time from the unit. Tried with several different opc (since, they are not selling "original" ones, they are all aftermarket). Also, these are made for the black IU, could not find OPC thats made for the colored ones. Could this be the problem? Maybe they need different charging voltages to operate properly?

@@Lann91 Opc in the same for all colors are just different chips. For each color there is a different chip that is on the units. Try stabilizing the image in the administrative settings to reset the background settings. Another acceptable option remains to replace the chip on the developer unit from magenta. You can send inprinted samples by mail so I can see.

If you dont replace pcr roller and pcr cleaning roller you can not get good result no matter which opc you try.
