    Awesome video!! right on point! were was info at the beginning of the year?! haha school of hard knocks :/ lol Not sure if it's been said yet or not but PSU problems could be hiding behind ignoring the 80% rule or less than the assumed amount of power hitting the outlet... if you buy a smart plug off amazon that reports both voltage and amps, you can see the voltage at he plug even with nothing plugged into. if you look at it long enough you'll notice that voltage will swing -probably a couple 10mv = 0.01V -, if your power company (in the US) sucks enough you could see it swing from 110v to 120v (also giant swings like this depending on a bunch of other variables -like t-stom that might have just rolled through took out power which had taken out some of your power companies equipment, they might have done a quick fix to get power flowing again but it's not quite at 120v instead your getting 110V-) so if your having power issues with your miner it might not be your PSU that's the problem it might be that your not getting the right amount of voltage to your panel/outlet which in turn is not allow all your planned/assumed amount of power (power -watts- = voltage x amps) to make it through. So if your ignoring the 80% rule and having power problems and the signs are leading to a PSU, it might be that your PSU is seeing less than the amount of required power and is shutting down (this is a safety feature not a bug..). However, if your not ignoring the 80% rule you are much less likely to have this type of problem along with less of a heat concern as descripted in the video.

An rtx 3090 and my hash rate was 122 on it all the time . Then I bought another rtx3090 and link it to the pc what happen is my old rtx is no longer give me the same hashrate and I had to increase the power voltage in msi afterburne and still didn’t work as it use to be . So I believe cause that my powersupply reached its limit ( I have evga 1000w )

    Hi I love your channel. You've inspired me to get into mining and I recently ordered 2 S19j Pros. I have a question about PDUS. If I bought a Tripp Lite PDU1230 240V 30A that has 4 C19 plugs can I plug both S19jPros into the same PDU on a 60AMP breaker circuit? Or do PDUs have a max draw of 30 AMP no matter what breaker / circuit it is on? Bascially Im wondering if Im going to need a 30 AMP PDU on a 30 AMP circuit for each S19j or not. Thanks for the great content. You said keep it simple 30 AMP circuits and L6-30p plugs. That got my attention and sent me down a rabbit hole.

I currently only have one older miner (bitmain s9) running inside a spare room in the house, but would definitely rather have in the garage if it can take the heat. I have a second one that I need to wait to use since I only have a 20 amp breaker currently. Using this one to learn. I have one of your mini doge miners on the way so that will be a nice small miner to try out too

  • @Gruengtep
    @Gruengtep2 жыл бұрын

    OK, Vosk basically what they do in the U.S. is to wire both the black and the white cables, directly into the breaker. Each wire then carrys 110V. 110V x 2 = 220V. If your using a 30 amp breaker you get 6,600 Watts available at the wall (30 x 220 = 6,600). If using a 20 amp breaker you get 4,400 Watts (20 x 220 = 4,400.). If you stay within recommended usage of 80% you get 5,280 Watts and 3,520 Watts respectively. So for a lot of the big miners you can only run one of them on a single 220V circuit. If you have a ton of Mini-DOGEs however, you can run about 17 of them on one 220V 30 amp circuit (conservatively.).

    What would be a solution if you live in an apartment, meaning you can’t switch to higher amp or higher voltage currents, yet you still wanted to invest in ASIC miners?

    What about Europe, here our standard outlet has 220-240v. Should I be worried or some?

    I have an Asus B250 mining board which can take 19 GPU's, I'm using 6 x 20 series cards powered by a Corsair AX1600i PSU. If I wish to use up another 6 of the GPU slots on the motherboard, can I add another PSU to it and is it ok to do so, or better to just build another rig? Since the B250 advertised the board as a 19 x GPU capable board, does it mean it can actually handle so many GPU's? And I'm not too keen on using one very powerful PSU as anything above 1600w are just cheap quality products.

    I knew it would be back if I kept my eyes open and the money ready to go! This is mini #3, but I'm glad I got this at the reasonable price. Plus it's got Tails, how can you go wrong? Thanks Vosk!

    I have been trying to figure out so many different ways. Like using solar of course with battery backup. Then generators that can do gasoline or propane type gas like getting a cylinder from gas complainers, or hooking up a gas line from home directly into the generator. Not sure it’s worth it for gasoline with prices as high as they are. Any thought?
