Bissell Crosswave Max Vacuum Mop Review / What I Really Think!

Bissell Crosswave cordless max review - a bestselling vacmop (wet dry mop). This is unlike any other cleaning tool you've ever seen. You no longer need to sweep or vacuum your hard floors and then mop them. The Crosswave combines them into one step. That's right, it is like a vacuum and a mop all in one. I go over all the specs, how it works, and if it is worth the price.

The Bissell Crosswave multi-surface wet dry vacuum is the best vac mop! This has honestly been a HUUUUUUGE gamechanger for me. I literally use it multiple times a day to clean up spills, crumbs and messes. Since purchasing the Bissell Crosswave, my floors have never EVER been cleaner.
I haven't touched my mop since a purchased it, except for when I threw it in the garbage. The Bissell vacuum mop is cordless and has a run-time of 30 minutes per charge. It has a self-cleaning cycle to keep the mop- head clean and it is safe for use on tile, sealed wood floors, laminate, linoleum, rubber floor mats, pressed wood floors, and more. It even refreshes area rugs!
Probably my favorite part is the two-tank system, a clean and dirty compartment so you are only cleaning your floors with clean water. This really ups your cleaning floor game. I do manually clean the mop head when needed, which is very easy to do. I cannot imagine life without it, I absolutely love it!!!

    Does it work well as a dry vacuum as well? Looks like it can do double duty all in one go. I have a pet that sheds a lot of hair so mostly it's dry cleaning, but on those situations when there's water on the floor, I'd like it to pick up the dirt, hair and any wet spots.

    I have one of the first models and I just got this one and I love the first model and like I said though I can't wait to use this one. What I like about it is I don't have to even read the instruction manual it's pretty self-explanatory. I like how they all have the same concept when you put water and empty out the dirty part. Also, always empty out the dirty compartment sometimes it's easy to forget but it's obvious why I'm saying this. Never let it sit there it can get pretty gross. Just dump it and rinse it after each one. Just use only what you need sometimes you need to fill it to the top fill line for big jobs and usually a huge job I can get it done with just a little bit. You can always add more water and solution. When I first use my old model which I know the new model is even better, the old model, before I bought it I thought it I would have to keep refilling it to do a big job but a little goes a long way I was shocked. I can do all of my floors with just a little bit of water and solution on the low-lying. Also with tile, keep in mind that the bottom piece that vacuums all the stuff, it has a little bit of a rubber bumper on it which is good. But with tile sometimes you have that one tile that is a little bit higher than the rest, so always remember where that one uneven tile is in your house and be gentle when you pass over that tile, I would cringe when I would accidentally go over that one spot, you don't want it to ruin your bumper on the vacuum part.

    Thank you! I like your video and my floors are very similar so seeing it in action is nice. I have a nasty pulled muscle in my back that makes mopping difficult and with a dorky dog that slobbers and two senior dogs that drag dust everywhere I need a quick spot check on demand. I’m gonna try it. Maybe I won’t gag if I’m not stepping in spilled water and dust anymore.

    Nice review. Couple of questions: 1. Is it possible to clean the whole house in one charge? 2. Is it possible to clean the whole house without dismantling the parts to clean it in the middle? 3. Is there a cheap third party solutions available in any store? Proprietary solutions are usually expensive for no good reason. 4. How many times do you have to go over the whole floor for it to be 100% clean? I think the ability to not having to use a Dyson before cleaning the floor is amazing. I don't like the ritual of cleaning the floor.

    I have an d corded one that has gotten tons of use through the years. I longed for a cordless ever since they came out. I now have a puppy and toddler as well as 3 other children. Today I spotted one on marketplace new in box for $100. I bought that so fast. Just put it together and toyed with it for as long as the initial battery lasted. So many improvements from the first and cord free is great. Like the self cleaning also! P.s. • @CleanFreakGermaphobe

    @CleanFreakGermaphobe

    3 жыл бұрын

    It is safe for sealed hardwood. In fact, they have a roller and cleaning formula especially for hardwood floors. It doesn't "clean" grout exactly but since using my Crosswave, my grout is definitely cleaner because I'm not just pushing dirty water into grout lines, it is sucking up the dirty water...if that makes sense. I can't tell you how much I love mine. If you decide to check it out, please use our links and thank you so much for watching 😃👍

  • @CleanFreakGermaphobe

    @CleanFreakGermaphobe

    It does not leave a lot of moisture which I really like. The moisture that is there dries pretty fast. The Bissell has a trigger you can push to control when water comes out. I don't ever use this on my carpets... but I do use it on my area rugs without the water. Hope that helps. Comparison to be coming soon. 😃

    I have been thinking about the same thing. The corded one is slightly more powerful and if you are a younger person, the corded one is likely to last much longer because batteries have a determined amount of cycles. Tineco's vacmop was rated to 300 cycles, which is not many years if you are using it all the time. Half of cordless stick vacuums develop battery problems within five years. But it will depend on whether you vacuum daily or on the weekends.

  • @wishingb5859

    @wishingb5859

    3 жыл бұрын

    The honest answer is that the cordless will be easier to use but will probably start dying in 5 years. The corded vacmop will be frustrating at times because the cords aren't generally long enough but it could last decades. (My Shark Liftaway vacuum is still going strong after 10 years. Not sure whether newer vacuums really will last 10 years but quite possibly.)

So if I’m coaching something really dirty at someone’s house. But it’s made to be quick and easy so you do it often and it never gets bad. I don’t have this issue and any I’ve had I’ve been able to solve (I made videos about them). I think it’s been 4 years now since I started using a vacuum mop. You can't use these on carpets, but since you can control the water on the Bissell, you can use them on very short pile rugs.

    Why don't you pour your tank down the toiler (after you dump the trash into the trash)? I know you have a garbage disposal, I know you pour vinegar/bleach down your sink but, it's...crap, right? It's yucky food that hasn't been fermented by bacteria to be used as fuel. Wouldn't the toilet be better? Thank you for this video. Edit* I have another question: The cordless one has a different front roller. Would it make sense to have both(for maximum luxury if one can afford it)? The cordless to be used as a power sweeper and then the Max to be used as a power mop. Again, the MAX has a different front roller and you wouldn't want that for bigger debris but you would want it to mop. I have a bad back and want the cordless one, should disabled combat veterans collecting VA disabiltiy because they were maimed, get both?

    The vacuum mop robots we’ve tried aren’t as good. Simply because they can’t hold enough clean or dirty water.

    I have yet to run out of charge while using it. It is very efficient in cleaning the floors and I honestly will never go back to my old way of moping. BISSELL does have corded models however, if that suits you better. You have the hassle of a cord, but won't ever run out of a charge.

    I bought the Bissel Crosswave. It did a great job on my travertine floors. However, I do not think it deeps cleans the area rugs well. Seems it does not dispense enough water in the area rug mode.
