Great FOOTAGE. God uses who he chooses. Bishop had a big positive impact on many ppl for many years under his leadership.

This was a little bit b/4 he died. I enjoyed the service... but knowing he was getting ready to leave in us saddens me.. Rest In Peace~~Bishop J.O Patterson.

This is late Bishop J. O. Patterson 1 or Sr. Bishop came down with anoint. Glory to God . Their the late Sis. Wigley, late Toosie, Sis. Tucker and other saints. Elder Morris, Johnson. We'Re still Praising God with his Grandson, C. H. M. Patterson. Some saints still here and other in wait mold. ,Mom Alberta Peeples, Toosie, Sis. Laura & Isbella, Earnestine Moore, Sis, Riley, Brian. Flagg, Roy, Henry Cage, Samuel Flagg, Vincent, Shirley Marlow, Bro. Marlow, The Poindext

Awesome video, I love the classics nothing like the Leadership of old.... Bishop Patterson was an awesome man of God. He preached in our convocation in 1984 and bought so many people and Bishops with him. he truly blessed our church. thank you My Brother Thomas Harris !!!!!!

Remembering the special bond of Bishop Patterson, his wife Deborah ( daughter of Bishop Mason and church musician) and "Madam" Wiggle at 1010 Woodlawn St in the 1940's well before the Danny Thomas building and the present building. Elder Patterson in those days, was well read, made his way selling ice in the Summer and Coal in the the winter! And then there was later J O PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME! For a few years he traveled 90 miles almost every Sunday to preach at ROCK TEMPLE (now Unity since the merger with Allen Avenue).

Wonder Filled I think u mean sis Jessie jamerson he paid her $200 to get rid of the baby but she wouldn’t the sons name is Benjamin Patterson he lives in California

Three cogic churches had one around the same period of time. 1The Temple Cogic Memphis TN, 2 New Jerusalem cogic Virginia Beach VA and 3 pentecostal temple insistutional cogic Memphis TN.
