Erin, I know this is an old video, but I do not understand why Food Network hasn’t given you your own show. I’ve watched so very many Pastry Chefs & you are by far one of the best!!! No other pastry chef or food chef makes biscuits like yours!! They are the way biscuits are suppose to look & taste.. I always come back to your videos for any kind of pastry items like cakes especially among other fine pastries. You can tell you put love into your deserts. I’m Sicilian & it’s obvious that you care that the viewer can follow your recipes including the right & wrong way to bake.Thank you so much.
This is one of the sweetest videos I have seen in some time. I lost my dad in 2019. How I would love to do something like this with my Papa. Cheers to Erin and her dad.

Erin, you are just the best teacher on the Internet. Period. Please keep making videos. Already bought the pie book, even though I thought the pie section of "Fearless" was great. What's next?
Erin is a superb instructor who oozes knowledge that can be easily understood.

I loved every minute of this. If my dad was still alive, I’d totally do this with him. I don’t think his biscuits would have turned out (lol) but it would have been fun doing this together. Great vid.
This episode with your Dad is GREAT. Do more with Dad, please.
First successful drop biscuits! Thank you Erin. It’s wonderful seeing how much your dad wanted to make this video a success for you.
Putting the smaller biscuits in the middle of the sheet because the edges bake faster is so .... obvious yet brilliant. Great advice that's useful for so many things.

This is why she is such an excellent teacher! She even hits the 'common sense' points for those of us who are lacking in experience! After listening to her tutorial on pie dough, my very first pie had flaky crust! I felt like an expert pie baker!
Awe I loved seeing this, my dad used to watch me in the kitchen. He was 84 he'd say Whatcha cooking even if I wasn't lol. He passed last year I miss him so much

Your dad is so sweet, I can’t deal 😭
Erin, Thanks for showing us you and your dad baking biscuits together, It was a delightful segment LR
I loved this! Dad and daughter in the kitchen, so precious! Thank you!💖
Erin is THE BEST BAKING TEACHER!! I'd love a scone episode of Bake it Up a Notch, please.
Erin, you are amazing. No one explains things like you do. I cannot wait to master your recipes.
Thanks for having your Dad bake with you in this video, The day my Dad passed he had half of a loaf of soda bread that had me look up the recipe for on the kitchen table along with a knife and butter. I'm missing my Dad so much. Thank you, thank you.

I’m a new sub and enjoy your videos immensely…this one I just had to click on as soon as I saw it because my dad used to love scones / US biscuits…he’s been gone 15 years now 😓 How many others just had to watch some special daddy daughter time because they miss their own daddy so very much ?
Erin, I simply love your form of giving instructions. As I've already cited in your Part I video, I've had 2 strokes, so it's common for me to become overwhelmed when receiving new information; however, I tend 2B relaxed with receiving your instructions. ALSO, it was very precious watching your dad receiving your instructions. . . a video worth saving for nostalgic purpose. It's a moment when you cooked together virtually. Again, thank you! Celeste, in the ATL 💐
One of the best baker/chef/cooks on youtube....relevant, funny, great teaching, normal food, fun!...
I so envy you having your Dad to bake with..... I would get home from work to find a bag of ingredients waiting for me on my kitchen counter, I knew then that is what my Mum would've made for him. So I would get busy making his favorite dishes for him. Miss him much!! Hugs to you both 🤗🏴🇿🇦 Cherish your parents 💞
Thank you Erin for this video. Enjoyed it so much. Thought I was going to cry as you were telling your Dad Happy Father’s Day. Oh how I wish my Dad was still here so I could tell him the same. Awesome biscuit instructions. Making them in the morning.
Erin do you know how many of us you have help during these hard times? Do you know how much we love you? LOTS❣️
I love that she just told him where the glass measuring cup is-in the lazy Susan. So cute!!
So sweet. Your father might have been a bit out of his element at times (?), but he seemed truly delighted with the results! Thank you!
I never comment on videos, but I wanted to tell you that you are the best find of this quarantine time. I love your videos and purchased your old book. Can't wait for the new one!
I loved your dad's shaking that buttermilk ... I wish you the very best ... I have been making biscuits for 44 years and they still are just amazing.
Such a lovely time with Dad, my mom was my great cooking teacher ever, I lost her 3 weeks ago....I miss her badly :-(
Her dad is so funny and they work well together. Beside learning how to make great biscuits, I enjoyed their exchange.
Erin is the best teacher. Why doesn't she have a show on the Food Network yet? I learn more from her than Alton Brown. This weekend I made a wedding cake with a recipe I had never used before, and the first cake layer sunk in the middle. If I hadn't have watched Erin's videos, I wouldn't have known what went wrong, but now i know - the butter was too warm! She's made me a better baker. Can't wait until her next cookbook in the fall. Love her!
Your dad is absolutely delightful! I loved watching the two of you bake together. So sweet. ❤️
This remains my favorite episode. Erin and her dad together are so cute. And the biscuits look fantastic. I foresee biscuits in my near future!
I'm late to your biscuit party but I just have to say that watching you bake makes me so happy. You are so cheerful and your love for cooking shines through. Thank you! (Love your Dad too - he loves you so much!)
for REAL, you two are adorable. Erin has always been my favourite baker to follow and this episode was even better with the addition of her dad. Always informative and entertaining. I can't wait to make biscuits now!! I have a hand-measure recipe that I may make with the techniques taught here and use this recipe as a comparison. What's the worst that could happen? I have too many biscuits? I don't think that's a problem....
Erin, you are the best! I love watching your passion and willingness to teach us all. Your dad's a gem! Lucky, girl! I think we even caught a glimpse of your hubby on the camera...he did a great job of filming. I'm anxious to see what you have in store for us next time. Thanks for letting us join you in the kitchen.
Your dad is so sweet, so cute the two of you baking together
Seriously the best pastry/biscuit instructor ever. Pies and biscuits are my favorite.
it was way more enjoyable because of your father erin. such a sweet person, he seems very loving and you two have awesome chemistry, it shows
Love your Dad, please do more with him. Too fun to watch
It is so sweet that he watches your videos and learns from them.
Who on earth would give this a thumbs down? I've actually cooked with my mom like this before and it's so fun.
I love the way you drop little secrets in your videos with out making it a big deal. Like with the small biscuits in the center of the pan. This makes me pay attention so I don't miss anything. I am a firefighter and I cook at the station, so the tip about freezing the biscuits is amazing. I can now make them at home and bring them in. Your dad was cool! Thanks for removing the rear in making biscuits !
Thank you for sharing your Dad. Please include him in more of your videos!
I had given up making and eating biscuits a few years ago because mine were always horrible. After watching this video, I went to the kitchen and whipped up a batch of these babies and they turned out AMAZING! Thank you, Erin, for your awesome teaching skills! You did what NO ONE has ever been able to do. You turned me into a biscuit baker! Much love!
Can I just say. I just love your videos. Today I watched the pie and the biscuit video. Love the way you explain / troubleshoot. Issues people may have and let them know how to fix the issue. Your great pe tr personality shines through. Love, love, love, that you cooked with your Dad. What a treasured memory you made.
Erin you are amazing and clearly love what you do! Your dad is great and such a good sport. Loved when he was shaking the buttermilk to get a laugh out of you! My dad passed away 3 years ago and I miss him and that relationship so much.
The restaurant your Dad was talking about is in Sikeston, MO. Their nickname is "Home of the Throwed Rolls". Their real name is Lambert's. Not only are their rolls soooooo good, but so is all their food!!!! You definitely will not leave hungry!!

Man. You have to be my favorite baker of all time. Every time I watch you it’s like a later class! I love you Erin. Total fan girl Here.
You and your dad are so sweet! What a gift to the rest of us, thanks for sharing!
I was shocked by how much your father looks like my Dad did. Dad passed away at 94 in May, 2020 and I miss him every day. When I saw this I immediately saved it. When I am really missing him I pull it up and watch it again. Thank you!
So precious. I loved my Dad so much, and I loved to bake for him❣️great sweet episode. You are a good teacher 😊
Erin is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I wonder why she is not on the channel more. May be she is too busy or may be they are frightened by her skill. Either way, I need to see more of Erin. She does such an excellent job explaining things in a very down to earth, normal way.

If you aren't already aware: she's pretty active on Instagram, and a complete angel about responding to questions about her recipes or substitutions when she's able.
This was super cute watching you show your dad make biscuits! If Dad can make them anyone can make them!! I think it’s amazing and thank you for sharing! God bless! 🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦🍁
So sweet baking with dad..very handsome wedding picture 🥀💕
Aww, that was so beautiful baking together with your father, enjoyed that too. Thanks so much.
I love to cook and bake. Both my parents died when I was a child. Now I have a kid of my own. 7 year old who loves to cook with me and enjoys food as much as I do. I hope I get to make it a tradition and when I’m old he continues doing it either with me or with his own kids. Beautiful video!
Erin, your dad is so adorable and so sweet.
I loved this session. So much fun. Your dad is delightful.
I have never been a baker, but honestly, your clear teaching methods may just make me try.
Erin, you are the greatest! This is how I wish all learning took place. friendly, fun, and easy-going. xoxo
I don't even like biscuits but I loved this because ... duh, I love Erin! Her dad is great, too. Just love learning from Erin. She's the very best!
My favorite way to bake biscuits is to put them into a very hot well oiled iron skillet. Makes the absolute best crust!!!
I love, love, love that you have the “looking for something specific” section below!
How wonderful to see you bake with your dad! I haven’t been able to cook with my dad for a while so it was fun to watch you two! Plus I learned a lot!
Love your videos, this one especially, explains a lot. Best and yet seldom mentioned by anyone on videos or in books, ' How to store before, ie: freezing, how to store after', 'how to reheat' and most of all, no one ever shows or explains 'the racks and their placement in the oven and how and when to use 2 racks'. You just made my day, you covered them all. What a super bonus for your viewers. Now that is teaching at it's best, in my opinion. Please try and remember to cover these things more often. A 5 star video. And Happy Fathers day to your Dad.
Aloha Erin & Dad! Thank you for teaching us how to make the biscuits. The husband is going to be so happy this weekend as I'll try to make biscuit & gravy. Thank you for sharing your pictures and stories. You both brought so many smiles this evening. Blessings to you all!
I love this episode❤️❤️ You and your Dad are Precious!
ERIN THANK SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR BAKING WISDOM. I WONT BAKE WITHOUT YOUR ADVICE.
I feel asleep watching your gingerbread house video and woke up watching this. I guess you can say I love your videos.
Such a delight to see you baking with your dad Just precious!!!!
Awww.... I love, love, love to watch you work with your dad!! ❤ Your father reminds me so much of my own father. We used to do things together, and he taught me so much. I miss him tremendously! 😞 I couldn't stop smiling while watching this... so, so cute!! Spend as much time with your parents as you can sweetie. 🤗😊❤
So fun watching Erin and her dad.
Erin thank you. I watched this episode and thought of my dad who long since passed. Your teaching is fanomanal. I have learned so so much. God bless
Okay, this cracked me up. Erin explained to her dad to use the glass measuring cup for better accuracy and he then holds the cup in his hand all crooked while pouring the buttermilk into the measuring cup. So much for accuracy! Adorable!
Great segment! Thanks! Baking with your dad is so precious! He seems like a really good sport. In Australia, we call your 'cookies' biscuits and your 'biscuits' scones.
Here is an instructor that knows her stuff inside out and can teach in an understandable manner! It doesn't get any better than this.
You are just too good ... the way you explain everything with all the doubts clarification is the best part..
I’ve got a confession to make...I’m a Southern girl who has never been able to make great biscuits 😔 but I’m going to try this. You have explained this so well! And your dad is delightful!
What a wonderful show I enjoyed every minute of it. I especially enjoyed the father-daughter moments. Seeing your pup's at the end of the show really topped it off for me. Thank you
Love your dad.. So beautiful you spend this kind of time together.
Loved this Daddy/daughter vid, Erin!

You have one of the happiest, most welcoming smiles I've ever seen! Got your pie book, and thanks for the biscuit info!
😊😊😊 I love Erin and her dad!! Her dad is so cute and such a sport. Love you guys tons and thanks for such great instructions❤🙏
Your father is so adorable!
This is the absolute sweetest! Erins Dad is a gem. Erin is so patient. I enjoyed this one a little more than others. Oh, the biscuits… Yes yes. I learned a ton! When doing the bakers throw with flour, remember to make that noise Erin uses, it makes all the difference 😉 No need to knead, make them tall, let them rest and all the rest. This was such an awesome one to watch, for all the reasons. Thanks for sharing ❤️🤍💙
Thank you for sharing your special day🙏 How incredibly sweet you are! I feel so humbled and incredibly refreshed. You should teach. Your so smart and easy to understand...and very sweet and so funny. You made me laugh. It's been a while. You'd literally be the best "home ec" teacher out there. I took "shop class" in high school because home economics classes were so terrible, I mean terrrrrrible. Again thank you so much, and cheers to your film crew❣
You are adorable. Your dad is adorable. This episode is adorable. ♥️
I laughed out loud in real life when the dad said, in all seriousness, he weighed large egg and it was 57 grams. This dad and daughter combo are so adorable!!
This woman is my spirit animal. Oh lord, now I wanna go full-on biscuit.
Love this episode! Might be my favorite episode of all of yours. Really makes it seem doable for anyone!
I’ve searched for a cooking/baking instructor like you forever! I love how you teach. The pie crust you taught is now my family’s favorite. Thank you
What a great video. I love seeing you share this with your Dad.
This young lady is awesome ! Dad did great twice Making his 1st biscuits and sharing his lovely family thanks Dad!!!! Guilty on the rollin to thin I'll work on it thanks! Erin I'm kinda fun of lard it is simply the best to me!
That was a fun and precious video! Thank you for sharing with us, a special memory for you and your dad!
Erin, you are an outstanding instructor! AND incredibly knowledgeable of all sorts of practical issues in baking. Your videos are wonderful! Thank you for sharing so generously of your knowledge and experience. Every “aside” comment is pure gold!
My 4 year old son (36 now) was going to help me bake. The recipe called for a stick of melted butter. I melted the butter in a little plastic measuring cup before we started so it would cool and he could handle if better. Needles to say, it was a few minutes before we were ready to add the butter. I told him to pour the butter in the recipe and he gave me a really funny look. He looked at the measuring cup and said "That was the butter? It sure was good"! Lol lol
Here I am back again to get the recipe because everyone loved the dropped biscuit with cheddar and green onions I made 3 years ago.. ❤❤❤❤
I really like how you are wAlking him through. It feels like you could be say walking me through together. Ive never seen a vid where someone is being walked through together, its awesome. Great ☺️ great vid demo thanks
Once again I love you. And I did not think I could love you more but I did. You are so super nice and they way you explain things and how you helped your dad was very sweet. You are AMAZING.
