Oh now THIS is an idea! It wouldn't always have to be the same, but if there were always a few cake soaps people could buy as gifts that'd be ideal! Also good marketing. How many people have started buying a product after they received one as a gift and loved it? I know I have!

Oh my goodness, that's beyond adorable. Perfect pink frosting - and hey, if you want to call it Barbie pink, I don't think anyone would object. (In that collection's defense, yes, I do think your timing was a big part of the probem. The soaps themselves were impeccably cute and fun.)

That soap cake is adorable. Birthdays even after Christmas is bad. My B day is in February, and everyone is still in debt from Christmas. My birthday party was always a superbowl party. It stunk. Nobody was there for me, they were there to scream and yell at the T.V.

Mine is the beginning of January. I never even get a separate birthday. Everyone always lumps it in with Christmas

For the QotD, I’d argue that January is a good time, especially in the second half. You’re sad it’s no longer Christmas, it’s cold so you want a distraction, and no other gift holiday is during Jan. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I like it

As a South Floridian I would have to say March is the best birthday month. The weather is perfect and everyone loves spring! May you have the most enjoyable birthday yet! 🥳

I think women especially tend to say half-jokingly that they couldn't possibly have done something alone, so it was lovely to hear you think that, and then REthink it, because even if it wouldn't have been as easy for you, you could have done it!! It was a small moment but it really meant something to me

I remember the Girl World collection! I actually loved that collection, and I go back and watch the videos often. I agree the timing was just off. I recall wanting to buy one, but 1) really not needing any more soap and 2) wanting to wait for fall scents. Girly stuff is so fun to me, but I can see why some people don’t care for it. Not everyone loves hot pink the way I do. 🤣

This reminds me of the time Moriah Elizabeth made herself into a cupcake. I'M LIVING FOR THIS!!! These colors and the design, is perfection

Those cakes are exactly what I want to make for my daughter's birthday!! I LOVE vintage cakes!!

My son and I make special Pancakes. We put pancake mix in a bowl, add water and use my stick blender to blend it. He doesn't like how sticky syrup is so I have him pick out extracts. His favorite is vanilla, orange, and strawberry. I like anything Almond. Then we add sprinkles or food coloring. Then I'll either cook them in my dinosaur waffle mold or cook them on the griddle and cut out fun shapes with cookie cutters. Usually, dinosaurs. He then tears them and decorates them with red cookie icing so he can eat injured dinosaur pancakes. You have inspired me. My pancake batters look a lot like your soap videos. Not by accident.

That is such a COOL idea a birthday cake soap. Make it look like an actual cake. You could cut it like a cake and sell the resultant triangle slices.

The best time of the year to have a birthday? FALL! mine is early-mid October and the fall feels are birthday feels! I always wanted a carrot or spice cake as a kid and now I get pumpkin cheesecake. And I still like to throw a party for my friends which has vintage Halloween-y vibes, circus party favors, popcorn balls, candy apples, whatever. Moody and fun! One year we rented a school bus and had a field trip party to museums with sack lunches and the invitations were permission slips.

I loved the Barbie collection. I purchased one of every bar for my daughter. She still has some bars because she cherishes them so much. She will be 8 next month and now she needs this bar too.

I just recently made my first ever confetti soap, and I am in LOVE! My friend is getting married and commissioned me to make custom soaps as wedding favors, and I saved all the beveled edge scraps to make a confetti soap as a surprise for my friend. So perfect! I'm going to have to try this with more colors, because it looks awesome.

Best day for birthday: New Year's Eve. A friend of my daughter is a New Year's baby. Every year she got fireworks and a party, not to mention, being able to stay up till midnight! If it were me, I'd be pretty pleased with that arrangement as a kid. Happy Birthday Katie!!

Nooo, as an adult you can never just have a 'quiet' birthday, it always has to be the party of the year, aa a kid most of your friends have other plans with their families, and the day is never really just about you!

I just wanna say that I loved the barbie soap collection two years ago and I'm sad that it sold so badly. Between me and my mom we bought 6 soaps total from it!

Funny story about the Girl World collection: I pulled out Malibu Camper this month to use! Still smells and looks great!

Fall is the best time for a birthday

My birthday is May 8th, and I live in Buffalo, NY, my birthday usually falls in the first week that we have warm weather for the spring and it's like the best experience to be able to not have to bundle up to go outside.

Not a swiftie lol...she just broke records this past weekend in Seattle apparently. So birthday cake, aside from cake which I LOVE is a favorite flavor for me, for ice cream 🎂 happy birthday tomorrow and NO CRYING! Reflect on what a great life you have, terrific kids, great spouse, Loving family, your own great business... So much to need thankful for and age is just a number

Best time to have a birthday is autumn ;) the weather is cooling down but its not too cold or hot, and better than spring because there is no yellow Pollening to have to go through. My birthday happens to be the day before Halloween so I get cake AND candy and its totally cool. Totally. I hope that you have a VERY happy birthday! Happy birthday Katie 🎉 🎂 🎉 I’m also a July baby (29th), and there are pros and cons. Growing up, I never got a flag on my desk at school or got to celebrate with my classmates on my birthday, since it’s in the middle of summer holiday. But I usually had several parties… with my friends, my family on my mother’s side, family on my father’s side, other friends who weren’t home for the first party and so forth. And now 4 out of 5 in my family have our birthdays within the span of 30 days during the summer. Our youngest has in March, and she is the odd one out. So, summer is birthday time in our household! And today, 26th of July is me and my husband’s 20th wedding anniversary ❤❤❤ We are getting older together, and it’s nice.

I LOVE my January 5th birthday! All my public school friends were still out of school (back when that was applicable), it's far enough away from Christmas and New Year's to where people aren't totally exhausted but the air of celebration hasn't left yet. And the weather is always nice on my birthday. Texas in January is either high of 70s or it's snowing, I am so happy either way 💖

Happy Birthday! Mine is in July too, can be nice with pool parties but 8 times out of 10 when I was a kid we were on vacation on my birthday. Usually camping. So, I legit had my 40th birthday in the woods so my teary sad moments were witnessed by the trees and birds only. Highly recommended! This year was 44 though... Have a great week all!! 🎂

I have a nephew whose birthday is December 20th and I always make sure he has separate birthday and Christmas presents. I also make sure to wrap his birthday gift in birthday gift wrap and not Christmas wrap. He says having a birthday near Christmas doesn’t bother him, but his face lights up when I do this for him.

I'm in June, but I'm in the southern hemisphere so it's winter on my birthday, which is the best for me cause I love winter! I like having an excuse to layer petticoats beneath my skirts and long jackets without melting into a miserable puddle in hot weather XD. Also, I get presents exactly every six months being smack in the middle of the year, so it works out great for me!

I'm also a July baby my birthday is actually July 27th. I'm a Philly girl but I was raised in Puerto Rico since I was 10 years old. I loved every single birthday in Puerto Rico I had a beach party and a pool party it's always been so much fun. In Philadelphia it is too hot to go out. My daughter's birthday is in January People are always tight in that month because it's after Christmas and three kings. She really didn't get many gifts.

Girl world was my favorite soaps. It wormed my black littleheart.

I love having my bithday on october 31st. Autumn is my favorite season because it's still warm from summer but not as hot and the colours of the treeleafs is gorgeous.

I love where my birthday is placed. November baby here! Seeing family on Thanksgiving always made that turkey and all those pies a lil more special. Sometimes my birthday would even fall directly on or right next to Thanksgiving! A party that was going to happen anyways saves money. xD It was perfect cause Autumn has all those warm spices while the weather is cool, and not too close to Christmas to badly limit the presents I received.

Exact same cake colour and scent with different frosting colours (even a different colour each month if you wanted to keep the soap in stock all year) would be awesome. I love the overall design, but I’m just not a bright pink girl. In blue, green, or purple, I’d be 100% getting a bar for my bathroom. And I’d totally get a light blue or yellow for my mum. 🎂
