@@tamipie also on topic, black tourmaline is what you will see as the black shards inside of clear crystal. That is tourmalinated crystal. Crystals with gold and other mineralized shards in them are known as rutilated. The other word you might have been looking for regarding the bands on the outside of points could have been striation?

I lose 30% of my vocabulary when I turn on the camera. I am always really impressed by people who seem to wax poetic. Lemurians are supposed to have Acashic records, right? I couldn't believe that tourmaline went out of my head. I have been on the hunt for a bigger piece. I need to hold on to that big fluorite palm to get my mind straight! 🤪
