Excellent video bro , and a fair view of the game overall. You need to get rid of that manager, he will become the start of your downfall, as Rooney was for us. Disgusting behaviour by him today, he will lose the dressing room, as he has lost you fans already. Birmingham fan here. Just watched this. Excellent coverage. I agree you was better first half . We were too deep and slow. Second half we upped tempo, got stuck in. Beale changed tactics second half. You went more direct. No playing out from back. Banter between fans excellent again. Safe travels home. See you next season kro

There were rumours last season that the club were being pressured to play him by Jobe's agent/family which rubbed some fans up the wrong way. I think we all expected him to move on like Jude but to a (no disrespect) bigger club in a top division for a bigger fee. I think it's mostly disappointment from our fans that Jobe didn't stay and get a big move like Jude. I don't blame him for leaving as he would always have been in his brother's shadow here. I'm sure we've got a decent sell on fee so good luck to the kid (apart from when he's playing us)!

@@Mashmarriner69 From what I remember, his contract was expiring at the end of this season and he made it clear he wouldn't be signing a new one. There was no point keeping an unhappy kid around for an extra season and then going to a tribunal. It looks like we let him go for a reasonably small fee but included a hefty sell on percentage so we will be compensated in time. I also think Blues fans should remember that the Bellingham family pretty much single handedly kept the club from going to the wall. Jude could have gone for next to nothing but they ensured he signed a contract and got us almost £40m in total including his sell on fee to Madrid.

Watching Ballards interview after the game, the poor man was almost in tears, about losing. He’s a 100% Sunderland player.

Brum Fan - Good coverage of game, you deserved that lead in the first half but as you say..we stepped up a bit and your lads dropped off. Saw that 'blanking' incident from Beale, really awful thing to do to your own player. Best of luck for rest of season...good team and supporters.

As a Birmingham fan I said exactly the same after about 10 mins of first half sunderland passed it quite well we’ve made a right error to let in jack Clarke and he’s always gonna punish you if u let him in on goal seen the sub get completely blanked by Beale out of order completely lost his head now and when that happens it’s time to go second half I thought we played better and subs made a difference to turning it round all the best for the rest of season and hope the Beale misery ends soon for you guys

I agree with you totally, we’ve just come out of our nightmare with the Rooney fiasco, but it’s looking like they are just starting their own journey with a toxic manager that they didn’t want either. It’s a shame that a good club like Sunderland, who are so well supported, and working class like ourselves, are going to have to go down that dark path, which is unfortunate for the fans as it was for us. His behaviour today towards his own player,was disgraceful and unforgivable . If not before, he will be sacked at the end of the season, but where will he leave them? I know and won’t forget where Rooney left us, in such a short space of time, so I do feel for you Sunderland fans. All the best for the rest of the season, from a Bluenose. KRO 💙❤️

He has to go. There is no way he should treat Hume like that it’s a disgrace. He’s turned us from potential play off contenders to down right relegation favourites. If we didn’t have a few decent wins early in the season we would be right down there. I’ll always support the lads no matter what, however I really don’t want to take myself or my daughter to the games while he is in charge. Speakman and Beale out for me.

Has anyone else noticed that at least 2, perhaps even 3 of our players turned their backs when the free kick was taken which led to Birmingham's 2nd goal? I thought it was common knowledge never to do this, so the fact that these are professionals makes it infuriating. Let me know if I'm wrong please.

For me Beale should never have been given the job. There was something behind the scene’s why Mowbray was sacked. We urgently need Beale out, and a new head coach asap.

Since the Mowbray sacking we've gone backwards on and off the pitch, I still stand by as a whole the squad isn't good enough for the top 6 and that comes from the shocking transfer window we've had this season but if we stick with Beale we'll end up finishing 15th or 16th, I've got my issues and problems with the club and they're still a massive problem but in the short term while Beale remains in charge I'm just starting to lose interest I really am, things need to change now cos if not next season when Clarke leaves and if Beale's still here we'll be in a bloody relegation battle, I saw the Hume incident and that was absolutely shocking and disrespectful, players do it to the managers sometimes but you're the manager you're supposed to be more professional, all this man has done is slag the fans off and now potentially has killed the confidence of Hume, I'm telling u this will lead to problems in the dressing room and on the training ground, I want the whole lot gone but Beale is making the whole situation more toxic, he needs to go now

Didn't even want Beale in! And I hate everyone saying oh we shouldn't have sacked Mogga. Mogga was becoming shite for us man! But I was wanting to give more games to see if he could turn things around. The only reason to sack him is if we brought in better, not worse inexperienced Head Coach I just dislike Beale's whole persona, accent, vibe the lot. Grinds on me man! Just feels toxic as fuck!!! He hasn't brought anything different, no energy tactic or formation. Nowt.

Bellingham should be dropped for three games for being selfish, not playing in Clarke for a second, and potential winning goal. It then goes down the other end, and the result is another pathetic defeat to a team scrapping at the bottom. As for Beale, it doesn’t take a genius to work out this man is taking us backwards. We STILL persist with playing three cm’s, thinking we’ve got the staff to perform like Barcelona. So much wrong at the moment it’s almost like we’ve travelled back in time to the Grayson era.

Don't think the players are playing for him, which is wrong, but it's a fact. He needs to go.

I'm going to be totally objective and say we definitely deserved the 3 points, even though I've only seen snatches of highlights! lol There's no excuse for a manager to give a player the cold shoulder when they come off. Even less when there's a full house to witness it. With Eustace, and now Mowbray, we have some great comradery and togetherness. Rooney was a dick, and it's really not the way to go. Albion fan here - watched the match on TV. I cannot understand what he was trying to achieve by blanking Hume. IMO he has been a great player for you this season, the manager should be thanking him for his efforts

He has been agreat player for us, 1 of our most consistent to be fair. Beale claims he didn't him as was focusing on the game n he's apologised since. Obviously most ppl don't believe him but I guess we'll never know the truth.

Get Beale Out. He's just all words and no action and the fact he totally give Hume the cold shoulder when he came off was very unprofessional. The team has lost it's passion. Patto has wrists like weetabix, thats 2 goals he allow the opposition to score because he parried the ball instead of hold the ball. Mundle was far better than Ba yet he was taken off. If we didn't have clarke we would be at the bottom of the league. just not good enough, Speakman and Beale get out of our club.

Good manager, over shot expectations last season, board got shot of experienced players, and added more youth, TM begged for more experience, form dipped so they used that as an excuse to replace him.

It's all gone wrong since we didn't replace Diallo or Ross Stewart with a Championship striker. Bought in cheap players with the sole intent of profiteering later. Got rid of Gooch and Baath, forced out Pritchard, sacked Mowbray because he did not agree with the "model", sold out to The Mags with the Black Cats Bar debacle, hired Beale who blanks his own player and hasn't a clue. Beale out, Speakman out and our playboy owner has to go too. The club is dying from the top down. It's rotton throughout. Dark times. 🔴⚪🔴⚪😭😭

The only reason we ain’t sold out in 5 year is cus of Covid ofc and then our stadium falling down we’ve had technical sell outs if you like most of this year but good too see a fully fit sold out St Andrews again

We all know Beale is the Sunderland manager because he was the cheapest option. He’s probably the lowest paid manager in the league. Just like hardly no staff in the ticket office and when the club shop hardly used to be open. The club is getting ran like a league two club yet we get 40,000 plus every league home game. Beale is a horrible character tactically incapable poor communicator and quite frankly a terrible manager/head coach

The club has got no ambition they don’t wanna go to the next level. The manager is a clown. The sporting director is clueless. The backroom stuff needs to go. We need a clean slate at the club. The last two games have been rubbish if you don’t suck him now, the play-offs are gone you need to sack him now. They have a chance for the play-offs but the club will not sack him and I feel sorry for the supporters who go home and away to watch that I’m a season ticket older and I was really, really angry watching that, when Tony Mowbray was at the club the players were happy and they were enjoying their football. He come to the club and he’s like a cancer. He sucked the soul out of them players look what he did at Glasgow Rangers and now look at them the same players will be top of the league tomorrow nightand the Rangers fans have told us is arrogant. He needs to go now or the play-offs are gone.

This clown is out of his depth and hasn`t got a clue how to manage a team. For me him, Speakman and Dreyfuss can all jog on. No ambition to get promoted from Dreyfuss. Speakman is just ensuring it doesn`t happen.

I miss big Tony he’s a good guy and I wish him all the best but surely we’ve got to stop with this Beale out campaign he was not my choice personally and I’m frustrated like all fans but we have some fantastic talent at our club it’s obvious Beale wants to win every game thats what all coaches want I would say give him until the end of the season at least because he’s ten games in and he is getting some awful stick
