She have such a deep and sad look and her eyes look so so tired, but she's so beautiful and she has such a deep and good songs.

I heard this song back in 2017 and I liked it because of the melody, never really understanding anything about the lyrics. I am now realizing what it means after seeing this song on my ex-boyfriend's playlist (I took a quick snoop on Spotify, don't judge me); he added this about a week before he broke-up with me last March. He thought I was already gone mentally and emotionally (I've been detached the past months because I was going through something, my fault as well) -- just like how the lyrics says: "You don't leave but you tell me with your eyes what you need. Oh please, do you think that I don't know what it means. All the things you hide from me, I accept them". He didn't ask me what was wrong, didn't communicate anything and just tried to accept that I was already "gone" and moved on all on his own while we were still together. He was I think just waiting for me to say goodbye, (kinda like how Birdy says, "You say it first to me"). He decided to end things when he reached the peak of his "moving on" stage -- I was left blindsided to what was really happening. I had to process everything for maybe three weeks until I decided to fix things and reconcile but he has made up his mind a long time ago. He was long gone before he actually left. I am heartbroken. We've been together seven years. I had faults but I really wished he communicated his needs especially since he was the first to be aware of what was going on with our relationship.
